C.A.R.P.S.

[NPC Ken]

A hooded, cloaked figure walks slowly outside the perimeter of the inn. Within the shadows of the hood it bears a mask of wrought iron bars, beneath which can be seen the dim, white outline of bone. In its gnarled hand is grasped a staff with a small, ornamental skull at its head.

The figure moves ponderously, moving its head back and forth as it walks as if looking for someone....

*assuming this is the same hooded figure that we've seen before and received "visions"*

*to Res*
Um, I see a familiar face outside, I use the term face lightly, but it's the humoniod/creature who has been giving towns members visions.
*look to see if Romone or Arya is around*
*assuming Edrial is still next to Res*
Edrial will you join me outside?

[Edrial]

*nods to Aurora*
For what good it will do, that thing just phased right through us before when it set its mind about touching Arya.
*stands up and goes out the door before Aurora*

[Hector]

"This... thing... is obviously undead - surely the spawn of Necromancy. Should it not be destroyed where it stands?"

[Res Ipsa]

*Res shrugs and calls out to Aurora before she leaves the tavern* "If it aint solid here, I bet it's got a reflection on the 'scape. I could always pop over and slaughter it for ya if ya want."

[NPC Ken]

*As Aurora as she steps out of the Inn, the shade turns its' head towards her and moves swiftly across the ground, stopping within a few feet of her. It reaches out a clawed hand to point to her... and then rushes forward, passing through her. Aurora falls to the ground, unconscious. The apparition then turns and regards Edrial silently. (pm sent to Aurora)

*aroura starts to wake up*
*is the hooded figure still there?*
I really should learn to sit down before when I know what's coming...

Anyway another vision, Shall we go inside to discuss with those involved?

[Edrial]

*stands his ground against the apparition, fairly irrate but resigned*
*helps Aurora up as she starts to wake*
Inside sounds like a good plan, I need to find a way to prevent things from phasing through me.

[raymond]

~Raymond is outside when he sees what happens to the Archon so he freezes in his steps hoping that no one sees him and waits for everyone to go inside before moving~

*Aroura walks inside with Edrial and heads back to the table Res is at*
*to edrial* I didn't think you could stop him, I just didn't know how long I would sleep this time, and don't really like my unconsious body unprotected from others. *Aroura pulls out a piece of paper and starts to write*
I've got to get this written down before I forget the words and images.
In the meantime do you want a drink?

[NPC Ken]

The figure shifts to face Raymond. There is a pause, then it utters, in a thin, drawn out whisper: "Raaaaaayyyyymoooond".it rushes forward and into him... through him... knocking him to the ground.

When it has passed through him, the figure dissolves into nothingness.

*shakes his head at aurora*
no, not in much of a drinking mood with that thing around. I don't like it. I have no idea what it is trying to do or whether it is on our side or not.

*assuming Raymond did not get a scream off before getting phased through*

It can always be just water if you like.
Well while I agree I don't like the thing, I do believe it is on our side for the moment. It is giving us warnings of things that might happen if someone gets loose. It might have it's own agenda, but that's what we are here to figure out.
A. if what it is showing us is true.
B. if we can stop it from happening.
C. what the gods of old have to do with all this. (non-religious, just beings with God like power/abilities)
D. what to do with someone once we have this figured out.

well i don't have my notes with me but the most recent vision went something like this...
*shows him the piece of paper she wrote it all down*

And for the last bit, I can't read An'dar but i've seen it before and i'm pretty positive I got it copied down right so we can get it translated. If nothing else i have a bracelet that will translate it.
