I have heard that someone named Chronixxx was with Klogg at the time of the reforging... perhaps he now has the sword in his possession?

First off, Klogg did not fail. There is only so many times one can pull off the impossible. He was able to save Chronixxx and that is a victory within itself.

*She looks a tad more concern*

You are sounding as though you have already given up hope. The one now using Sliver should be able to bring down Mayham. Gotta believe that somewhere along the line the big bads and nasties in the world end up in the end paying for what they have done.

Granted it may sound a tad nieve, but it is something one has to believe in. It is going to get darker before one can see the sun again and well do not already give up.

If I have assumed anything, then I do appologize, but your broken heart drawing just makes me think that you are loosing hope.

Know this, we will soon see the end of Mayhem ... and members of this very town will assist the hero long lost and avenge Klogg.

I will never lose hope Kimberlyn, hope, love and the gift of the mother are all that my people have had for thousands of years and it will take more than any here are capable of to take any of those from me. All that I mean is that when the Hero faces Mayhem let us all hope that Mayhem will be vanquished.

After several moments, Twilight places her hand on Solari's shoulder, smiles sadly to him and stands. As she walks back to her papers, she speaks*

Know that Klogg went to Windcrest because he felt they could re-forge Sliver. He and I both knew that Sliver simply needed an enhancement in order to be able to harm Mayhem, so he journeyed to Windcrest, where the sword was originally forged.

Unfortunate for us, it was the battle that took Klogg from us, where Sliver was broken. Sliver has been re-forged. It is now the sword that can truly defeat Mayhem ... it will defeat Mayhem ...

*her voice trails off as she sits and focuses on organizing the pages laying in front of her*
