All of our 2008 events will be in Brighton. You must have a Michigan State Park parking permit, which may be purchased at the ranger station or ordered online. There is a drop box at the entrance to the campground where you can put your parking fee in an envelope, drop it into a locked pole, and retain part of the envelope as proof you've paid to park, but the rangers are NOT good about refilling the envelope box so this can be chancy. In any case, permits run $24 for the year or $6 for the day--but this may change in 2008. Our three regular campgrounds are listed below.

These are all sites with cabins and bunks. Bald Mountain and Brighton have pit toilets and no electricity, so you may consider bringing bottled water for washing and drinking as well as a lantern or other light source. Brighton is allowing us to have tents this year, The others do not. All campgrounds allow dogs, provided that they are not vicious and are leashed or chained.

Brighton Recreation Area Family Cabins: Off the Grand River exit in Brighton.

Bald Mountain Recreation Area: Located in Lake Orion (near the Palace) at the Tamarack Lake cabins.

Camp Kiwanis:"Located approximately four miles east of downtown Mason on M-36 at Diamond Road."
