*The mage hunter walks inside the Inn at the exact moment Eld and her decided they would meet up. She walks up and orders the two of them a drink. It is quite obvious by her appearance that she has not rested at all from the night before. While standing near him without missing a beat she begins the conversation.*

as much as needs be. I'll need to save some energy and tend to it just before midnight each night until you and your cohorts decide what to do. It's quite an intriging device, really.

I really appreciate what you two are doing. I have a feeling once we return hunting down this being who is trying to kill me is going to take priority. I'm not sure if Llyshon will be here or not so let's wait a few minutes.

If you choose to collect or send a group to deal with this, either yourself or Llyshon, let me know. I would advise taking Eve up on her offer as well, a quality seer would be highly helpful, but the warriors, urban experts and wilderness experts will be just as important. Perhaps you should ask Eld as an additional favor from him, there is no task that is not made at least 'safer' by the addition of a skilled magi to the team.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I though Kathryn was going to do some scouting and talk to Eve while I'm away. Llyshon, myself, Chronixx, and a few others are leaving a little bit later on today. As I stated at the Keep this mission is perhaps even more important then whatever is after me.

That's why I gave her all the information about talking to Eve and all.

Daniel enters the inn with a traveling bag over his sholder. For those who have not seen him in months he is still a bit pale, but appears to be much better.

"Ah, there you are Thane Huntress," Daniel says with a smile as he addresses Kimberlyn, "speaking of being away, when are we planning to go? I was told to meet up here in Midway and that flying boat of the Malkasomething, oh light, the Skumm Boat would be coming here for us. Blast if I can see anything in the sky through these clouds and storms. Who ever heard of gale storms hitting during the fourth month in these parts."

Daniel turns to Darthesis, "good to see you again Darthesis, I trust all is as well as to be expected? I've heard something about these pesky attacks but figured I'd jot down some notes first hand."

Oh and for note, the device is not tied to you, Kimberlyn. It may have been activated because you had possession of it, but I doubt it was you who activated it.

*Looks at Eld*

Well maybe with me going on my mission the thing won't activate then, though I wasn't anywhere near the thing went it brought those creatures there last time.

*Looks at Daniel*

Daniel smiles, "yes, I'm aware of the purpose of our mission, just waiting on the when. I would like to see more on these attacks you keep facing."

Looks to Eld, "I don't believe we've had the pleasure. The name's Daniel Lockheart of His Majesty's Army and Keeper of the Fifth Tome of ToeVass, but please call me Daniel. Your the one helping out Kimberlyn with her attackers, along with all the others of course."

Pleasant to meet you... sir? I'm still getting used to your rankings and terminology. If you'd like to see the "attacks" and are free at midnight, you are more than welcome to watch. Though, I don't intend to fight them unless they get more creative than me. At any rate, I am Eld. I won't bother you with my full name, as it'll get slaughtered anyway.

and it will definitely activate. Actually, it will activate every night at midnight until it is disenchanted. Of course the beasts will still be created once this happens, just not at the location the device is at. Which, of course, would completely show your hand.

Well Eld looks like based on whatever Kathryn ends up finding out while I"m away we'll decide whether or not to reveal my hand because those things can't keep coming around. At least so far I'm their only main target, but still you have no idea how badly I want to disenchant the blasted thing.

[Darthesis]

So we have two options. Keep it with people who can handle the things AND steadily pursue this master before he catches on and moves... or disenchant it, destroy it, and give up that option.

I'll leave that decision to those who know it's importance.
