[NPC Brodie]

Every day for a week, on all the windows of the tavern and everywhere else anyone sleeps in the town of midway, frost on the windows displays this message written in a flowing, fanciful hand

"Citizens of midway and friends of the fae,
I seek for myself a champion of the mortal realms to take my part in the affairs that may affect the realm of the fae.
Those who are interested and believe themselves worthy will be tested most rigorously so that they are seen to live up to my standards.
He who is my champion will be well rewarded.
-Winter"

[Timin]

Following the first morning of the frosted message on the window throughout Silverthorn, before night falls for the next weeks Timin runs around frosting random windows and leaving a return message.

"To Winter of the Fae,
Look No Further! I accept this challenge and will prove myself worthy of being called your Champion!
--The Awesome Timin"

[Kestrel]

Kestrel finds Timin frosting a window and asks what he is doing. After he explains about Winter's challenge she replies
"I wanna go see the Fae, can I go with you?"

[Edrial]

*glances at Timmin writing responses in peoples windows*
I guess I will come along to make sure you don't get in to much trouble then. IF we get a response from "winter" that is.

[Hawke]

*Arya hates forums, so this is her response*

"Timin, which hat are you going to wear? As long as it's not the blue light-up one, I'm in"

[Hawke]

"Eh, I'll go along too. Should be entertaining to see how bad Timin mucks this up."

[Timin]

*After finishing scratching in the first message he turns around to see everyone behind him.*

"Wow, this is going to be a super awesome adventure with everyone going! I'll bet there will be so much to see and do, I hope their will be dancing and a party afterwards. I do so like a good party with the Fae, the last one with Spring was a blast!"

*Timin precedes to amend his earlier message from earlier with the following.*

"P.S.
--Support from Kestrel, Edrial, Arya, Hawke, and maybe others in the near future will be provided in case my exuberance exceeds my self preservation. Which it does on occasion, but that is just a sign of a dedicated Champion! "

The next morning another message appears

Anya considers carefully. "Hmm, the Fae are always entertainingly dangerous to be around. And I have learned this new spell I want to try out.... Count me in!"
