*Brodmordh does not even look up as he keeps moving around.*

"It was not a secret just a choice to stay low. An so it is out an I am not ashamed of it. In fact I carry it like a banner. If they give question of me about it than I give an earnest reply. So no office was taking, an thus no harm. So do you care for one more drink Garen?"

(Detect Lie) Without looking at Daniel,

"Perhaps because I'm not very subtle."

"However, I am not rude. Rude would have been not taking you serious as an obviously powerful caster. Magical armor and powerful claims may blind some people to the fact that these are dangerous lands and you are a stranger but I am not taking anyone for granted."

Certainly I'd be happy to pass along what I know, as long as our good Maxwell here says this one's ok.

"Yes, our foe is also a powerful mage, and we must be sure our allies are trustworthy. Make sure there are no babies under this stone!" Olaf raps on Garen's armor.

"I understand your mistrust barbarian. However, if there was something nefarious to be found within Stone would not Jack have noticed it and announced it? He did after all take a look at all my magics, though it would probably be difficult for a barbarian to notice that in retrospect. Either way, I will not remove Stone, but I believe Jacks word should be enough for you yes?"

Garen Aythereon, is a name I've heard of though not a lot on it has been discussed. Yet another powerful mage from the mages guild, though he has helped with the war effort from what I know and that should count for something. Jack what say you, is this indeed the Garen Aythereon who even people on the other side of the world have spoken on his power as a mage if little more is known of him?

Daniel glances with a look of mild tolerance at Brodmordh and replies, "passed over? reduced to a common man? Is that how you see it? Perhaps what you witness was my review of your character. I believed that Cudar was ready for this position you so coveted, and you on the other hand needed time to grow. You didn't like my answer when you questioned me then and I doubt you like my answer now. He never sought out to get this position and yet has done admirably well in it. You on the other hand, much like a spoiled child, threw a fit when you were, as you put it, 'passed over for promotion by a new comer.' On top of that after having failed to secure the position you then vanished without word for months upon months and when I finally hear you were back and I track you down I find that you have returned no longer as part of the House but as, one of them." With this last statement Daniel flips his head in the direction of several mages guild members present in the inn. "And now you're going to quote Llyshon to me? A man whose principals never allowed him to join up with the guild of magi. I find that humerus at best."

"As for your kin, I have no ill will toward Rayne, and you know it. You know my reasons for passing her over. And for that matter I have none toward you. What you witness isn't ill will, it's called disappointment."

Daniel shakes his head pursing his lips in disgust. "I do hope that you find what you are looking for with them, and that your superiors there are smart enough watch their backs from you thirst for authority."

*Looks at Daniel and states, with a mild slur in his speech* "I never knew much about the mage's guild before coming here, but from what I've seen so far I haven't been impressed. Bunch of self-important boobs teleporting themselves around the place cuz they're too good to use doors, and when they do use them, they gotta come into the inn all windy and blowing dirt and sand into people's beers. *He shoots a quick, angry glance at the sentinel, then looks back to Daniel*. "If Llyshon didn't join'em, I like the guy better already."

*He shrugs* "Anyway, count me in for the first part of that Cave. I'm not much in a fight, but I can get us through a lot of traps, and am pretty good at finding hidden stuff."

"Res is it? Forgive my enterence. I spend most of my time in that form and do not always realize what a mess it can create. Let me buy you another drink. In fact how about I buy everyone a round to appologize for the mess?"
