*Res chuckles at the squire and grins up at him*, "I think that was the barkeep's point. Meditation helps to focus the mind." *He raises his mug and swirls the ale*, "See... I am about to focus my mind on this Ale... on how cool it is on my lips, and smooth it flows across my tongue, and the warmth that will rise from my belly after I've drunk it." *He takes a long pull, closes his eyes, then sighs in obvious satisfaction. After a moment, he opens his eyes again and fixes them on the squire.* "Do they really not let you drink in the Knighthood? Wow..." *He takes another pull* "That is depressing. Count me out."

Famed Loremaster of House Toevass?" *He looks over at Brodmorda* "Hey, barkeep, get this man another drink!" *He releases Daniel's hand (finally), and settles back into his seat* "I'm Res, Res Ipsa. A seer of some skill, though currently I can only barter my services as I have yet to meet with the Diviner's guild head." *he attempts to take a sip of his ale, then frowns, peering into the bottom of his empty mug. He places the mug on the counter and flashes a quick grin to the barkeep*
