No, I didn't get beat up by a wood elf. Or anything else for that matter. I just need some sleep. Had to go help get rid of an undead problem in Tarragon Keep last night. Haven't slept yet.

*Takes a big drink from his glass.*

By the way, I'll probably have a recipe for those toughness potions that you wanted next month. I also need to find a good price on a portable research lab for my potions, too.

Have you heard that Sylas made me Constable of Midway, as well as Legacy?

"Labs can just be purchased, I know a guy in ports end who I can get a good deal from. How big of a lab do you need, and are you sure you need it portable...that adds a lot of cost to the price?"

"So...since your constable of two towns, do you get double the pay? If not, you may want to have a knowledgeable, persuasive, and lovable guthrie talk to him about that. I mean, you are doing the work of 2 constables so its only fair."

I'm only looking for a small portable lab (5pp) so I can identify potions when away from town. I don't think I have enough money right now, though. I spent a significant chunk on a larger portable healing lab.

*pauses for another drink*

So far I haven't been given an increase in pay for my constabulary services. I don't really have much to do in Legacy currently. There's very few people still living in the area that would be under my jurisdiction. Come to think of it, Sylas never did pay me for last month. He kept saying something about he'd pay me when the money arrived.

"Well.....have you ever heard the story about Guthrie Claus? Rumor has it he may be paying a visit to midway very soon and you never know what could happen if you leave some goodies our for him.

Come to think of it...I havent seen Guthrie Claus is several years. I hope he isnt mad at me.

Anyway...if you havent heard the story and would like to some time, just let me know and if Guthrie Claus doesnt come through for you, just let me know and I will see if I can talk to my guys in Ports End about a "Special Discount" since you are the Constable of two towns and all."
