*looks at the remains of the boar and walks back off into the woods with the pups*

Sylas, Draven, and Thandar emerge to find all the travelers corralled into a single group before a rather perplexed Kimberlyn.

*Waits a bit and then approaches one of the guards keeping an eye on the travelers.*

I'm going to ask again. Will you please go and get Sylas for me. I need to talk to him oh now would be good.

*Walking up behind Kimberlyn*

'Relax before you scare off my guards. Whats all the stress about?'

*She grins*

I'm not being scary, trust me. I need to talk to you about some unusual findings. Mind if I bend your ear a little?

*Kimberlyn, after speaking with Sylas, looks at all the new people to get their attention.*

I was wondering if I could please talk to one of you off to the side for a few moments please. I need some information.

“Ah, talking!” blurts Thandar, “My favorite pastime! At least it’s right up there with sleeping and eating. What would you like to know? I’m not spoken for, if that’s your question. Had an arranged marriage once, but that was broken off long ago. By both parties. No, wait… I think four or five parties were involved. In fact, I think it was BECAUSE of a party. My memory is kind of fuzzy on the whole thing. My question is: If they don't want people getting drunk at parties, why do they stock them with so much wine?”

*The little Guthrie looks up*

Thandar winces as Kimberlyn senses him.

“Yeesh! You just checked me for magic, didn’t you! They did that to me at Tarragon Keep, too – right after they put the mark on me. Fine detail, but I don’t know if that really takes any effort when it’s applied with a spell. Not one drop of ink! They put it on each of us to keep us from sneaking back across the mountains. Said we couldn’t hide it, no matter how hard we tried! Said we couldn’t cut it out, either. Not unless we cut all the way down and removed our heart, and if we did that, they said they didn’t CARE if the mark was gone! Have to love that sense of humor! Worthy of Duke Harrison, himself!”

*Kimberlyn raises an eyebrow as if the pieces of her confusion are finally coming together.*

A mark you say? What is the purpose of said mark? If you do not mind me askin' again, did they put this on each an every one of you? Did by any chance anyone send any paperwork or something along verifying this?

*Looks at the paper in her hand given to her by the guthrie and begins reading it waiting for an answer and also to see if anything is mentioned about marking all of these people at Terragon.*

*The paper simply states that Vaellar, Guthrie of the mages guild is hereby re-assigned to the town of Legacy for crimes of impersonating a human.*
