what did I miss
Music, fun, and best of all, lots of Ale! One cannot ask for more than that, except for a warm bed, which they have as well.

*fergus enters the Inn, gets a drink and turns to speak*

Well the yearly alchemists convention was as thrilling as ever. So I figure I wasn't missed too badly, but what did I miss.

*fergus, takes a sip and looks about the Inn*

Kailar looks up from a table, needle in one hand and her cloak in the other.

'Oh ... there were the zombies. Um, giant one-eyed dragonflies, more zombies, earth elementals that tried to suck people into the earth, ooh and bandits stole the prizes and feastings for the "Extreme Noble Adventure".' She snorts softly, and then gets a little pale.

'Oh yeah. And then there were the shadow trees that tried to break down the walls of the inn to get at us...' She goes quiet, and returns her attention to the cloak nervously.

*nods understandingly*

Good to know it was nothing I was needed for.

*continues to drink*

'Actually it might've been kinda nice,' Kailar mumbles. 'I'm still half afraid to go outside after dark.'

The elven water mage lifts her head and peers at Fergus from her seat near the fire. Her quill is set into her ink vial and in its place she takes up her goblet.

"The young woman speaks truly... This new town is rather more life-threatening than the last. I heard Bombour speak of fortifying the inn. After shadowy necromantic tree creatures, I'm in rather firm agreement."

'Yeah, standing on the floor and feeling the building shake...' Kailar swallows, her face turning a little green. 'Not really fun.'

*from the rafters above Aroura can be heard*

(to Fergus)
Well actually some help with herbs and healing would have been helpful. But it was managed. But i am certainly still interested in learning more of those skills in the near future if you are still willing to teach me.

Glad that your convention went well though. Hopefully you were able to learn what you were hoping to.
