YOU ARE TO HAVE ALL YOUR TAX INFORMATION AVAILABLE OR WILL BE TREATED AS IF YOU HAVE FAILED TO PAY TAXES.

IF YOU ARE A MEMBER OF A HOUSE OR GUILD PROOF OF MEMBERSHIP IS BEING REQUESTED.

NOTICE TAXES ARE DUE BI-MONTHLY PER TOWN COUNCIL ORDINANCE

*Agmundr looks up at Mr. Green as he post his notice. Than shakes his head as he drink the last drop out of his tankard.*

"Mr. Green what does that say not all of us can read. An I am one of those that can not read, so will you tell me what it says please."

It says you pay now! You pay CASH!!! (Daniel says with a chuckle.) Actually it says *Daniel reads it off to all who can hear.

It means that I am doing my job to check and ensure the paper work for this town is correct.

In a loud voice, it says

This is the only town I have ever visited that collects taxes bi-monthly. The Baron is OK with that?

since it has been in effect for over 2 years now i would say no. in the year it was put into effect taxes where being paid monthly. Now looking over the records either the city became laxed or people have been ignoring taxation.

Either way I will figure it out and those that know me understand that I am very understanding and helpful.

Olaf don't worry i give respect where it is due, unless someone is on purpose avoiding the payment of taxes while being fully aware they owe them. I will be more than happy to work something out even if they don't have the funds on them to pay what is owed.

Boy I have been here for a long time and I've never seen a town ordinance that says bi-monthly. This is very strange. I'll have to look over the records and see who/when/why such a thing was passed. Do you have any information on this. I would say that as far as I am aware it's always been monthly.

it was changed 2 years back in midway if i recall the person who was taking the notes was in charge of mages guild i believe. also i would like to add that taxes kingdom wide are generally done yearly.

I believe i suggest the bi-monthly due to at the time city funds where low or some reason like that I think.

I may not have given a reason.. well any ways it was passed with all in agreement.

maka though i have never had any issue collect taxes much the less asking for paperwork. The enforcers are rarely needed due to the town folk tend to be honest in the past.

For an audit this town has never had one as long as i recall. so it is well over due and only fun if you enjoy paperwork that is.

You are misreading your own charter, tax man. Taxes are due monthly in this kingdom, not yearly, though I'm sure you went through all the proper channels to get approval for the bi-monthly collection since wrath hasn't rained down on us so far. Or has it? You haven't answered about this recent tax increase. How long will it last and what is the reason?

but our charter says yearly sorry about that if you want to argue about it you should read over that charter also.

thus why if you ever where to look at a writ why it has only a year life span on it.
