I was wondering when the last time any one had heard from or seen our Thane? It seems to me it has been way to long and I'm starting to get worried.

I thought I mentioned that he was stuck in the dream and fighting for his life. I'm sure I mentioned that someplace.

Yes you did, you were discussing with myself taking charge of getting that issue resolved. I think Chronixxx was in the other room at that time.

[Res Ipsa]

*Res is sitting back with his feet up on one of the benches, he glances over at the group and states idly,* "Yeah, I punched through his scryshield and saw him stuck there. I feel bad for the guy. We should do.... nnn..nnnnnGGGGHGHHHHH..." *He trails off and his eyes roll back into his head. His lurches up and his hands grip the edge of the table, so hard that they turn white.* "The AXE..." *his voice comes out in strangled verse* "THE AXE THAT SPLITS THE AIR APART AND GRANTS US PASSAGE TO THE DARK, IF BROUGHT TO BEAR UPON THIS TASK WILL CLEAVE THE MAGE FROM NIGHTMARE'S GRASP." *Res utters a long sigh and collapses on the ground, comatose.

Points at Res.. SEE!!! this is why I don't scry into the dream! Need I say more? Anyone happen to have a air cutting axe handy? You know we really should start taking this whole save Sylas issue seriously. He has been stuck there for sometime now. I wonder how he eats and drinks? Hmm, never mind don't answer that.

[Boomer Powderbang]

*Boomer walks in as Res starts speaking*

Wow...looks like someone's been drinking the koolaid.

The dreamscape? How does one go about getting stuck there?

Wasn't there some kind of air axe that someone got while we were in the barbarian lands a while back? I think Vidar had it last, but I might be wrong on who ended up keeping it.

[Res Ipsa]

*Res hasn't moved at all since he collapsed. After Lochlain is done speaking, you hear his voice, muffled by the ground,* "I'm good, thanks for asking. No need to worry about me... or pick me up off the ground, really. I like it down here. Thanks for all the concern."

*There is a brief pause*

"Hey... I think I found a pemb.*

[Vaanak]

Vaanak grabs Res by the scruff of the neck and hauls him back up.

"You really got to work on that whole passing out thing."

Nope I had no idea he was stuck. So his brash spur of the moment ideas finally did him in. So what flicker of a lightning bug got that idea in his head? Too bad it's in the dream. I ain't going there. And if it is the Axe from the Barbarian Lands I don't think any one could identified it, so we have no idea of what it does.

[olaf]

Olaf, ever-present ale in hand, looks uneasy with the conversation.

"Oohhh. Dreams the stuff of the spirit-talkers. Best not mess with."

Just to recap what I already mentioned:

"I almost forgot. It's good to see you Darth, as I believe you're one of the few people who can help. It seems our Thane has once again gone off on some misadventure and ended up getting himself stuck in a life or death battle in the "dream" as you people call it. As you well know I've sworn an oath to never divine the dream or anything related to it since that time I was talked into looking into it by the late Tee and subsequently pulled into the "Dream" by that very bad dream person. I still cannot believe I had to rely upon that one armed mercenary to save me. So there you have it. He's stuck, maybe fighting to stay alive and I'm at a loss as to what or how to save him. Not to mention it's probably his fault that we've all been having these nightmares and waking up with our eyes and noses and ears bleeding. Any chance you know anything about how to once again save him? I'll look into it and see if there's a reward for his safe return."

[Darthesis]

So what background and information do people have on this axe? Any information might be helpful in the rescue of Sylas.

im sorry my friend the only axe im aware of is the one Sadot passed to me before he departed and set me to work with Silus here
its only property im aware of is its abilaty to make it swing for magical damage if i wish it to do so.

if i come accrost another axe i will be glad to pass it on and if you ask i will let you see the one Sadot had aswell.
