Bamf!

Post by Kreed »

*Adoven suddenly appears on a bench in the inn. He looks around, and says*

"Does anyone know where I can go about getting better equipment? While mine is (Searches for a word) pretty, it has little more than aesthetic value"

*Pulls out a very ornate flask, and takes a swig"

"Something magical perhaps?"

(from behind the bar)

If i can get a bit more information on what you want I should be able to give you an idea on where or how much.

*Laughing, Adoven replies*

"A magical staff. One that would let me cast a spell into it, and release it a later time"

*His eyes gleam with a maniacal excitement*

"Maybe a ring that could hold spells, longer than the day I can keep spells on myself!"

*Looking suddenly serious*

"A Staff that glows when Drow are around"

*He spits*

"I hate Drow"

The best way for you to find items of magic is to quest. Things tend to be found hidden in ancient ruins or behind keep walls.

I would have to agree with daniel on that since magical equipment of the type you want will run multiple bar to a brick at least.

If you have that type of money available I can see what may be available out there or check to see if someone in the mages guild has the ability to craft such items.

"Unfortunately I am not a wealthy mage, So finding these items myself would be the best route I believe. Do either of you know where to look for them?"

Kenric it depends on the quality of the weapon.

If your wanting it made by an expert at smithing then your looking around 840 pemb, by a master it would be around 3,750 pemb and then you have grandmaster which most cring just thinking about the cost.

For now Kahsan I would suggest maybe learning how to make scrolls since they would give your the same effect for storing spells and also if you have extras later on you could sell them.

*Res jumps back a little as the mage suddenly appears next to him, and some ale spills from his glass onto his lap. He frowns, looking down at the spilled beer, "How's about we start with turning the theatrics down a notch or two, eh? I don't just come to the inn to drink, and if a pretty woman walks in here it'd be much easier to talk to her without looking like i just pissed my pants."

*He pauses for a moment and appears to be concentrating*, "Luckily nobody attractive will be walking through that door anytime soon... so i'll forgive ya. *He grins*, "As for my price, we have some options. I need soothsaying equipment good enough for a Master soothsayer. One that isn't portable will do. So that's one option. The other is to let me tag along when you go to get the item. We find people to go with us. You take the item we're looking for as your share and the rest is divided up between whoever else goes with you... except I get first pick of whatever we find.
