Walking into the tavern with a spring in his step, Stag sat down on a bench in front of the bar.
He turned in his seat at the bench and addressed the closest, and most knowledgeable looking patron.
"Hale my good sir (madam), rumor has it that Midway has one of the most comprehensive potion labs in all the land, and as crafter of potions myself, i was wondering if you could direct me to someone who could teach me to improve my craft, as i am but a novice myself."

*At the mention of potions, Lochlainn turns to Stag*
"Potions, you say? Well, you have definitely come to the right place. I am a master at both research and creation of potions. Unfortunately I am not available to mentor for the next few moons due to caring for this little one. *gesturing to the baby orc in his arms* But I should be able to teach you a few things in the meantime. If you need someone to mentor you, I may be able to point you to a few others in town or find you a mentor through the alchemist's guild."

Stag perks up at the mention of an Alchemist guild.
"A whole guild devoted to the most noble art of brewing? I haven't been this excited since i discovered maple syrup! If you could find me a mentor from this guild, or perhaps even talk about helping me gain membership i would be most appreciative."

"I can certainly speak to the head of the alchemist's guild on your behalf to see about getting you membership. As for getting you a mentor, which skill do you want to start with?"

Stag, with a look of excitement on his face quickly replies.
"The art of researching and brewing new potions if at all possible. I want to learn to create useful and new potions, above mixing others formula, even if that is enormously fun."

"But if a researcher is unavailable to mentor me, i would be more then willing to apprentice under a practical brewer. I just love experimenting, but I am aware of how wise it is to root your understanding in practical learning."
