I agree with the Baronial Magistrate, Zen take a walk and cool off. Unless you are like a Sylas, Darthesis, or someone who sells goods this is not that difficult to do. The tax money collected pays for things like oh feeding, clothing, supplying the town guard, helps fund the efforts of the Captain of the Guard, the Constable, things like that.

Just pay and keep track of the tax stuff. It's not worth getting in trouble for. Look at it as giving support to someone like Lochlainn who has helped may of us over and over again.

*smiling, and wiping down the bar top one last time*

*zen looks taken aback at the mention that he needs to calm down after speaking his mind*

"excuse me? did you just ask ME to calm down, do you have any idea how many times i have been threatened by members of this or any of the other silverthorn towns when I came HERE to HELP you fight back the undead horde, *yelling* AND THIS IS THE THANKS I GET, ITS NO WONDER YOU PEOPLE HAVE TROUBLE FINDING ALIES IN THIS WAR, YOUR TOO STUBBORN TO ACCEPT THE HELP THAT IS OFFERED TO YOU GRACIOUSLY!!!

*zen storms out*

*Llyshon walks into the Inn just as Zen is completing his tirade. He raises an eyebrow at the man as he storms past and throws Sylas a quizzical look*, "Everything okay?"

"Just Zen showing us how 'gracious' he is."
*tosses the rag under the bar*
"Boy was that kid misnamed."

*Just nods her head in agreement with Sylas.*

*Edrick just raises an eye brow when Zen walks out the door*

He needs a drink and a good story. I'm just trying to keep people out of trouble.

Hey, speaking of the war, how does it go on the front?

*glances to Sylas and chuckles in response* "So it would seem. Perhaps we can find a teacher for him in that art... it would certainly serve him well." *nods to Kimberlyn* "We need to travel back to Silverthorne to complete our mission. I can teleport us there, but we should probably find Mal Ka'Tai and bring them with us."

[Rooks Reayvalynn]

*Rooks is sitting up in the rafter holding his staff close. He rustles about and pulls the hood off from his face.*

"If you people took fighting this war half as seriously as you pay tax's... i swear. Mumble mumble grumble grumble... honey is so much sweeter than ass... speaking of, Sylas might you pour me a glass of my stock and drop in some honey if we have it... i am in dire need of something wet."

*Sylas begins mixing something behind the bar then without warning tosses the mug straight up in the air*

*Looks up and sees Rooks and then turns to Llyshon*

*Rooks's hand snaps out to grab the mug as it comes up but his fingers pass through it almost as if immaterial and it tumbles back to the ground. He looks down*
