Sarys posts on the notice board of the Silver Rose:

"Hello Heroes of Midway!

The Dawnbringers have recently begun research on Paths. For those unaware, these Paths involve dedicating a lot of effort to learn exclusive skills, allowing experienced adventurers to have a special niche. Expect that it will be difficult to find a teacher for these, and progress will be slow and hard-earned. In addition to needing a teacher, our understanding is that these Paths roughly require that you be a master of one specific skill and an expert in two specific others. While we don't have much beyond the title of each (and haven't discovered the teachers or specific skills each offers), we'd like to make this information known.

It was brought to our attention recently that the existence of a few of these Paths might be of a more sensitive nature, so we aren't posting the list in a tavern. If you'd like to know, please contact Briston, Sarys, or any member of the Dawnbringers, and we'll tell you what we have.

-SS"

For anyone who finds Sarys, she'll give them a list, or tell them:

"The Paths which we currently know exist (there are probably more!) are as follows:

Essence Knight
Archmage (similar to Augmentor, can modify spells)
Essence Seeker
Escalapian
Shaman
Void Champion
Alchemetalist
Archer
Berserker
DreamWalker
Druid
Racial Elder
Essence Mage
Path of Chaos
Rune Master (combines scroll-making and smithing, crafting path)
Order Paladin
Shield Guardian (warrior-tank: requires master shield defense, expert taunt, and spell parry)
Undead Hunter
Battlemage
Wayfarer
Witch Hunter
Light Fae
Dark Fae
Green Fae
Physician

-All for now."

Briston adds - when asked for information:

We expect that the names of these Paths should also give you a very good idea of what they do. A couple might be a little odd, so I'll offer my guesses:

Escalapian - probably a powerful healer
Witch Hunter - probably focuses on battling mages (and will very likely require disenchant skill)
Racial Elders - probably specialize in racial skills, so these will each be very different based on the race

-Volcor talks with Sarys and Briston-

"Please let anyone interested in the battle mage path know that an associate and I are looking for information. I'm willing to share all I've found in exchange for helping my friend and I find more... Or in exchange for coin, favors, etc."

Sciencee rummages around his bag and finds a pencil to jot a not alongside the list:

"For those who are curious about advanced healing it may help to look under Aesculapian as well as Esculapian, they both sound similar but it may get overlooked in writing. Good luck to all you seekers of knowledge!"

I had been looking into order, but it looks like it will not match up with my abilities. Tell me more of the alchemist path that you've discovered.

Volcor posts a note beside this written on Dwarven

"Hello friend,

If you seek information on the path of battle mage, please contact me. I am willing to share what I've learned!

Best regards,

Volcor Lorecrafter, 3rd scribe of the ramblequills"

Then sits down to his studies and ale at the bar.
