Good people Midway,
It has come to my attention there is some confusion on the Kings tax law. I have tried to explain the points of confusion below.
There is one big change dealing with Gems. See point 1. I have resisted as long as I could implementing this change but I'm being forced.
The following updates on tax law will be implemented immediately.
1.Gems are now consider currency and will be taxed accordingly. Gems are no longer considered a barter item.
2.All tax reduction requests must be approved by the local House Head of Mandilor.
3.One must have the following information in their ledger per transaction. The amount of money earned and how the income was earned.
4.The protection of a citizen a person receives from paying taxes starts once the taxes are paid and ones ledger is signed by a Mandilor representative. The protection lasts until the end of the next moon.
5.To gain the protection of a citizen by paying taxes, one must have their ledger signed by a Mandilor representative and have ones name in the master Mandilor tax book.
6.One may donate money towards the town’s taxes which will cost 2 verlan for a human and 4 verlan for everyone else. See bullet point 5 for gaining protections of citizen.
Please let me know if there is any questions.
