C.A.R.P.S.

*The small Guthrie known as Vaellar slowly enters the building and takes a look around the inside. After a cursory glance around he plops down on one of the bar benches and wiggles his butt around as if testing it for comfort. He then stands up, looks around and walks out the door mumbling something about it being sufficient given the circumstances.*

*Sylas comes up from the cellar meeting the Guthrie at the door*

"Sufficient? I think its WAAYY better then that. Man it feels good to be home. Let me get you a drink before you go."

*walks up the short steps and behind the bar*

*talking to a shadow under the bar*

"What about you Divin? You think the bar is only sufficient?"

*The small Guthrie stops in his tracks and does an about face at Sylas's mention of a drink.*

"Well...I must admit this place would be a lot more cozy if I had a free drink to welcome me into it."

Vaellar looks up at Sylas as if awaiting his free drink while he takes a seat back on the bench.

*serves the Guthrie two mugs side by side spilling over the top*

"Hows the place looking now?"

*Takes a mug with each hand and pulls them closer to himself, then testingly sips at each of them making sure not to spill even a single drop. He then licks his lips and looks up at Sylas.*

"Well, I must say that I definitely appreciate that the drink here comes in Pints. Buuuuuuuttt...I sure could use a little something to fill my stomach after a couple pints of this fine Ale. I think that would definitely help make this place seem more comfortable."

*Sits back and sips on his mugs of ale while waiting to see Sylas's response to his request*

*zen steps into the doorway of the tavern, taking a final puff on his bright red pipe before tapping it out on the outside of the doorframe. he notices vaellar and sylas inside.

ahh. greetings Master Vaellar, master sylas, and what might you two be up to on this fine spring day.

*Cudar steps into the inn and looks around.*
"I'll happily buy Master Vaellar a meal, if it'll make him more comfortable."
*He drops a few coins on the counter, followed by another*
"And a mug of ale for myself if you don't mind."
*He sits down next to Vaellar and waits for Sylas to fill the orders.*

*Vaellar nods a greeting to Zen as he quickly scoops the coins off the bar and deftly drops them back into Cudar's money pouch*

*turning to look at Cudar he the Guthrie whispers to him*

"While I appreciate your hospitality the price of a free meal does not begin to compare with the fun I am having trying to con said free meal out of our friendly barkeep. Sit back and watch a guthrie work my friend."

*Vaellar then hands one of his half full mugs to Cudar while emptying the other mug and staring into it*

"Hmm...how unfortunate...this place seems to be losing some of its comfort."

*The small Guthrie then pointedly places the empty mug upside down in front of Sylas and waits to see what he does while glancing around for something to nibble on*

*Cudar laughs and takes a sip from the mug while gathering his coin back up.*
"Work your magic, my friend."

*from the shadows under the bar*

The drinks are great

the company is impeccable

but the view could use some work... maybe a small overhang to shadow the front of the bar as well would be an improvement.

or I guess I could just sit out in the open... but what fun would that be I wonder.

*Solari walks in as Divin is talking*
Well I came to say goodbye and head back across the Mts. after a visit with Sylvan'Con. But if the Great and wonderous Shadow Lord, whose power is only exceeded by his mystery, or was that his density, is present I simply must have a drink. *Smirk* And just so you know, I'm a little better at tag now, only slightly, but I'm looking to fix that

Sylas, a fae wine please, Vaellar's paying. *Snicker*

*Walks in and rolls her eyes and what all she is seeing.*

Sylas, could you put Solari's drink on my tab please. *She grins at him*
Let's just say I owe him.

*steadily pouring drinks, passing the first to Vaellar along with some munchies, and passing the second under the bar*

"..more shadows, got it."

"..Vaellars tab, got it."

"..not on Vaellars tab, got it."

*massaging shoulder*

".. tag, .. I think Ill sit this round out. I still havent healed from my fall off the roof last time."

*pops the cork on a fresh bottle of wine*

*Vaellar looks up at the sound of Solari's voice*

"I have a tab?? All this time I thought this place was just practicing Guthrie hospitality. How disappointing."

*Reaches for a handful of munchies and begins to nibble on them while pulling out some blank parchment, quill, and bottle of Ink*

*crawling out from under the bar, brushing a thick layer of dust off his cloths*

By chaos Sylas when was the last time you cleaned under there? Ah no matter.

Wine? why haven't you moved up to the big kids drinks yet Solari? also of no matter...

*ponders for a moment*

Sylas do I still have a mug back there? I'm not sure I recall the last time I used mine... or where it may be actually, gah, I lose more crap these days.
