Can we get some ideas of what he can do or has done with exotic materials in the past? Making scale mail out of dead beetles is exotic but I'm not sure how effective it'd be.

I think that would depend on how big the beetle was.

Yes I do beleive he means Jason Blackstone, the head of the Smith's guild. Since he is the only local Jason we have that is a smith in Midway.

It would also depend on the size of the wearer I suppose. Orcs versus Gnomes and all that.
