A man in the armor and tabard of the Ironguard city guard makes his way into the inn and sinks heavily to a seat at the bar.

"Anyone here interested in helping a poor, deprived soldier recover his long lost love from the villain what stole her away?"

Swift slides in to a spot down the bar from him.

"Will it involve much killin of monstahs and baddies? Or is this one of those finicky, illegal, killin citizens things? Cuz i don't kill people. To much risk ah gettin' arrested."

"So far as I know, the beast who's won her to his side is a monster not of this kingdom, so I think the law will look kindly on you."

Can you give out any more information? Has she been kidnapped or charmed, or did she just run away with someone else? No offense meant, but I don't like getting into love quarrels if that is what is going on.

"I had some amount of money to spend with the astrologer's guild after my success, but not enough to get that question answered. Although, in fairness, after her being alive and her location, it was the last on my list of things to discover."
