C.A.R.P.S.

[Bloodharp]

*Mortimer peaks his head into the inn and glances around before slowly and stealthily entering. This is offset by the fact that he is wearing armor clearly too big for him that glitters like the sun in the candlelight. He slinks to a corner and sits down, holding his tail in his hands.

[Kenric Sayne]

*Kenric raises his hand to shield his good eye from the glow of Mortimer's armor and walks towards the source of the light*

"Mortimer, mind if I ask where you got that armor? And is there a way that you could cover it or make it less bright?"

[Bloodharp]

*Mortimer looks up at Kenric and glances down at his armor. "It fall out of egg. It must be spacial relative egg cuz it big armor and small egg. I like the bouncy one better." He pulls a chair in front of his chest, blocking most of the glow. "Thaz better!"

[Kenric Sayne]

"Thank you for blocking some of the light."

*Kenric pauses for a bit, takes a deep breath, and continues*

"Mortimer, are you aware of what happened to Maka?"

[Bloodharp]

*Mortimer pauses, then looks down at the floor, holding his tail in his hands again. "She gone... Mormar not good with having mommys." He looks a bit downcast.

[Kenric Sayne]

*Kenric looks down at the floor for a few seconds before looking back at Mortimer and wiping a tear from his good eye.*

"I know what its like to lose a mother Mortimer, I've lost mine as well. Let me get you a drink, whatever you would like."

*Kenric places money on the bar for two drinks.*

[Dravec]

Dravec enters the tavern.

"Hey all, what is going on?"

[Bloodharp]

*Mortimer nods sagely, which for him involves vague ear twitching and standing up. He points at a blue-labeled bottle and perks his ear up as Dravec comes in.
"Dravey! I'm talkin with Kenryic and umm... stuff!"

[Dravec]

"Just be careful, Mortimer."
