[NPC Brodie]

A short, stout gnome walks into the bar holding a colorful box with what looks like a handle sticking out of one side.

"Greetings adventurers of midway! I have been told that, if I wish to find those who would wish to find more about the secrets and treasures of this world, I should come here. So here I am! Kobur Socketdizzy, great gnomish inventor and archivist! I've discovered ruins of a most ancient gnomish outpost linked to some source of great power. Come with me and be the first to lay eyes on this most incredible place for an age or more. Anyone looking for glory or treasure or knowledge, with me. Everyone else, get out!'

He waves those uninterested out hurriedly and beckons those who remain as close as possible.

[Daniel Lockheart]

Daniel methodically takes off his reading spectacles and places them into his coat's pocket. "I'm sorry did you say 'most incredible place for an age or more, glory, treasure, and knowledge?' Hi, I'm Daniel Lockheart, and I believe you and I will be spending a great deal of time together soon," Daniel says while he extends his hand, with a great smile crossing his face, to his new best little gnomish friend.

"As long as it's not more musical golems." Flamyras walks over and listens.

Elias, drinking silently in the corner, looks over at this new gnome, considering his claims of lost knowledge and glory.

[NPC Brodie]

"Musical golems... No, I'd never involve you in something like that." He looks down at the box he's holding, then back up around the room.
"Anyone else interested? Anyone else longing for adventure and treasure, hidden for an age, lost to all but the most dedicated of researchers. Anyone else not longing for those things? Because you really, really should get out, in that case."

[agmundr]

*Agmundr looks up at Kobur with a gleam of fire behind his eyes. Than picks up his drink, and walks over to him. He studies the gnome Kobur for a moment.*

"So how are you gone to get the lot of us there? An where are we off too if we go with you? Is it by means of ways less natural or by foot? I ask for some of us are not so good at handling it if is by ways less than natural. An I smell the ways less natural upon you."

[NPC Brodie]

"Natural, of course not!" He sticks his prodigous nose up in the air, sniffing with disgust at the thought.
"We travel by only the most efficient mechanical means."

[agmundr]

*Agmundr looks at Kobur and chuckles at him.*

"So no spell craft to take us there. If it is spell craft I am not going for your safety."

[NPC Brodie]

"I promise you I won't be casting any spells."

[agmundr]

"Than count me in, I need a good fight."

[Dravec]

"I will journey with my friends and allies, to protect and assist them in their quest for knowledge and profit."

[Edrial]

*edrial steps over from around the table he was sitting at*
Count me in too, wouldn't want anyone to get hurt without my shield and blade there.

*Kenric downs the rest of his drink in one swig and stands up from the bar, a smile spreading across his face and a gleam in his good eye.*

"I've been dying for some adventure, there's no way I'm missing out on this."

*Kathryn listens to the little gnome, eyeing the strange box curiously*
