Re: COA
Taking count, we have about 13 folks who are interested. So we have at least one group and maybe if we can get a couple more people, two groups. Adventure and treasure awaits the bold and willing.

Re: COA
Team,
I have a great offer from Boomer and Maven. They have done a lot of research on level one of the cave. They also are willing to do some more research for us before we head in on Friday night. They will provide us all the information if we are willing to give them 10% of the final money/gem pot. The money pot is the final amount of cash/gems after folks put money into the pot for magic items. No magic items would be included in the 10%. This could be a wald up to a bar. It is very hard to predict what the cash will be.
That is a small price to be paid for alot of knowledge and being prepared!
If we as a group are willing to their terms, let them know what questions you would like them to ask about the cave.

Edrick, if you believe the amount of information gained is worth that amount, then I am all for proper preparation and am all for accepting this offer as a known cost of trying to survive such an adventure.

Re: COA
You are the leader you make the rules. If people do not like the rules, people do not have to go. That being said you make a decision and just make sure everyone that goes knows what the decision is in advance.
Thank you carry on.

Re: COA
How are we dividing loot and who is supervising it? I'm pretty sure I"m not going with the people on that list, I wont get jack in way of loot.

Re: COA
Maka,
I'm the loot master on this trip and the items of power will be divided up as we typicaly do. Need before greed. And if the item of power is great, maybe put some extra money in the pot for the others.
Just ask others how I split up loot. I try to be fair and just. Not greedy

Re: COA
I can speak that Edrick is fair about splitting spoils.
Those who have the most need for an item will get first option for it. Once all items are given to those in need, the rest will be split based on who can simply use it. Those who get these items will get less or no actual cash/gem loot. Those who did not get an item will get a share of the cash/gem loot, which will be larger for not having been split among those who get an item of power.
As Edrick mentioned if someone gets a truly epic item, then they may be asked to add additional money to the pot to be split among those who got no items. If the item you got is fairly weak you may get that as well as a half share of loot.
I've never seen anyone feel slighted after Edrick has handled loot.

Okay. So then I guess I might go. Who are you putting in the first group? What time are we going? I was gonna try to run some jobs through the merc guild but I can wait until the next day for that.

Well, I might be gone Friday night, might come late. But sure you can't wait 'till Saturday if I don't make it Friday? I know I will definitely help make Edrick more effective at the lower levels by clearing out traps, and also free up Daniel for some of the big puzzles.
Plus... I don't fall asleep no more...
*OOG: And we will be short-staffed this event, and Ken would like to help run the lower cave levels
