Sophia looks over at Valkryn a look of disdain etched into her normally soft features. "Perhaps you should watch your mouth when speaking to your betters, sirrah, it is how you got into trouble before."

*Valkren looks over to Sophia* My apologies, My lady, I didn't realize that I had offended you. *Bows deep* I take my leave.


*You hear snickering outside*

Sophia can audibly hear the snickering outside. Her face grows red and she slams her goblet down on the counter. "This is absolutely ridiculous!" She stands up and smoothes her dress. "I'm going to get Jack." Sophia moves behind the bar heading down the hallway to her and Jack's bedroom.

[Kenric Sayne]

*Seeing Sophia getting so upset, Kenric finishes his drink and heads to the door*

*While chasing after Valkren*
"You will not disrespect Lady Sophia in such a manner!"

*Kenric grabs Valkren and starts pulling him back to the inn*
"You have once again insulted nobility."

* ziggy steps on his stool, getting higher behind the bar*

Taking all bets! how long is valkren going to live through this encounter!

Stag stands up from his spot in the corner and walks to the open door. He yells out to Kenric.

"There is no need for violence! He is new, go easy on him."

Stag turns around with a smile, and walks back to his seat.

[Bloodharp]

Mortimer watches Sophia go off. He scratches his furry ear and sits down in a corner.
"Maybe Valkers should give good mousers to Lady. She likes good mousers, even let go to go make MORE good mousers. Hmm."
He stands up and goes out back to look for winter vermin.

"Valkren pushes Kenric off him"

"I didn't insult her, in fact, I showed nothing but kindness to her. Sorry for laughing outside, I recalled a joke about three orcs in a pub. Gets me every time. I'll be leaving now, I have places to be. "

[Kenric Sayne]

"If you didn't insult Lady Sophia, you would have no problem coming back to the inn and explaining yourself to her then. It's not a very good idea to have a noblewoman mad at you. I'm sure your business can wait the few minutes it will take to talk things over, so let's go back inside and discuss this. Of course, if you don't want to come inside willingly, I'm sure some members of the town guard will be nice enough to ask you to come back inside with me."

*Valkren looks at Kenric*

"I don't see what I did wrong. I was polite, and then I walked outside."

[Kenric Sayne]

"It was the laughing as you walked away after the apology. Obviously Sophia, and anyone else listening, doesn't believe it was a sincere apology since when someone is truly sorry for something, they usually don't start snickering like a fool right after they apologize. Now if you come inside and explain yourself to her, I'm sure nothing more will come of this."

*Valkren walks past Kenric into the inn*


*He walks towards the direction of Sophia's bedroom*

"Sophia! I'm sorry. There's no need to have me murdered because I'm an idiot."

[Dravec]

Valkren, I would suggest that you avoid upsetting Lady Sophia when she is being an egg. She is under my personal protection.

[lady sophia]

Sophia emerges from the hallway at the sound of Valkryn's voice. Her face is stony.

"Firstly, you do not have the right or privilege to call me by my first name. You will address me as Lady Maxwell." Her face softens. "Secondly, It was never my intention to have anyone murdered for any reason. You simply must learn your place and how to speak to your betters." She turns away from him having nothing more to say and smiles at Dravec placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Thank you Dravec."

[Bloodharp]

Mortimer wanders back inside carrying a small bag that rustles on occasion. He wanders over to Dravec and hands him it with a wide grin before running back outside, tail wagging happily like a young kit.
