That's right, Hawke, you are a newcomer and have no idea of these people. Necromancy is a scary thing and every one of us have seen people die and have horrible things done to them from it. You were not executed, but if every one of us would have done it if we were left no other choice. But we had another choice, we found one, for the sake of our towns members.

My own nephew was kidnapped by a necromancer and almost gone forever. If that is your only opinion on the topic you should keep it to yourself.

Lady Cathryn had already presented another choice, and had sent people to the inn to get help. Not to attempt to get us executed out of fear.
That was half my point. Either they are both hypocrites for calling anyone else a coward, or they are both hypocrites for calling themselves honorable or heroic or just.

BUWAHAHA, are you serious? Good Dwarf, surely you know Rowen and I were joking. We did not "colluded" get you killed. We ran into the inn to mess with our old friend who happens to be the constable, Lochlainn. We assumed he'd think it was humerus and come out and cleanse you all. Admittedly his overreaction was a slight miscalculation on our parts. But I assure you and will take any oath you have that my intentions were a, admittedly bad, attempt at adding some levity to a very dreary situation. Little did I know Lochlainn wasn't an essence mage. I honestly thought he was somehow attuned to essence and would simply do that finger wiggle thing and cleanse you all and we'd have a drink and laugh about charging into the teeth of the Red Tear and living to tell about it.

If you were offended, as it seems you were, I do apologize. I've never claimed to have a great sense of humor.

As for my other points, well I don't see how my bad humor has anything to do with that issue.

So I know I can count on Olaf's hammer if we can raise the girl is anyone else willing to accompany me on a quest to find the things needed to cleanse her? I'm willing to bet it's some rare flower or some other such nonsense that requires us to go some very dangerous place or some other such craziness.

A very poor joke indeed...

I have only met Luthien once, and he seemed a pleasant enough fellow, as was his mother.
On the other hand, I don't care to see anyone killed in cold blood.

I will come along, on the condition that the cure is procured first, or we find evidence that no cure is necessary. I would not want to see this person raised just in time for them to commit a heinous act under the full moon while we're out looking for the cure.

We might also seek to ensure that the victim was truly an innocent. I would not want to raise a mass murderer, simply because its murder was equally senseless.

I would like to help in any way I can Daniel. I know we have not always seen eye to eye, but if there is a cure, then the murder was a senseless act and needs to be atoned for. I was not here when it happened, but I will gladly do anything I can to help someone be cleansed of that disease without haphazardly killing them for the sake of destroying lycanthropes. I am sure he had his reasons, and it is clear that our friend Winter has some phobias herself as I witnessed with the snake headed fellow. But, that is for devries to figure out. An attempt to raise and cure her would be, for lack of a better word, Heroic.

i was not calling you a coward directly Daniel. i know that you and i have fought many of times side by side, i know you to be a man of honor. i talk of the people who sat at the bar and sipped there drinks, as a member of this town was killed, i acted to stop the bloodshed. as i stand consider my actions as suicide by companion. no father actions should be taken on my behalf, now as for the killing of sass. there i feel that the blame stands on my shoulders, i did not check myself during a conversation as said that "i know her to be a lycan" not knowing that luthien would react in that manner. so i am the one to be held responsible for her death. it was no different than me pointing my bow at her and firing. it is luthiens nature to hunt and kill other lycans. we do not hold the birds accountable for flying so we should not hold luthien responsible for his actions, just because he looks to be human doesn't make him one.

and about the necro joke, i admit that it was in bad taste but i had to done. Lochlainn needs some excitement every now and again. also i would have killed anyone who have attacked any member of this town, no exceptions.

*rowen looks at Daniel*
are you not the head of toevass, don't you guys know everything. your not very good at knowing things, may be i should be the head of toeface........i know that lochlainn is a hurler not a mage. *hick up*

umm ziggy what did you give me, i'sss likes sit.

*Lochlainn comes out of his room at the back of the inn, his features looking more gaunt than usual. He hefts the glowing axe over one shoulder with an obvious grimace.*

"I think I've had about as much excitement as I can take around here. Especially with having to deal with this axe along with everything else. I'll be glad once Sylas is back and all this business is behind us."

"And Daniel, I think your eyesight must really be going if you thought I was a mage of any kind. Though learning to cleanse people may be something the essence healers can teach me to do without magic. Might be worth looking into in all my spare time." *Lochlainn chuckles, but there is no mirth in it.*

"Ah well."

*Lochlainn's shoulders slump as he walks out the door, gathering up a small group of Silverthorn guards on the way out.*

*A young woman dressed in black and gold with a cat collar jingling merrily bounces in to the tavern and sits down dramatically*

"So...who will be buying me a drink, eh? And has anybody seen my cousin? We are supposed to be having the Silvani dance party, yeah! Maybe he is in his brothel..."

*She smiles sweetly and glances around to see if anyone is willing to buy aforementioned drink*
