Will you know your way? and will you be able to get back? Do you want Maka to go with you, or leave your children with?

I don't mean to delay, just want to make sure I am helping verses hurting.

"I be fine. I know how to find my way in the wild. I'm ready to go now." Some of the anger fades out of Vaanak's face and she holds her twins tight to her chest.

"Alright, I hope to see you back again soon."

*places hands on both Vaanak, and the babies*

"I hope your travels are safe."

*begins casting* 'by the quickness of air, I..'

~As she begins casting Barnabas walks up~ WAIT! I will take her.

Res stumbles to his feet and walks over to Va. "I'm coming too. Always good to have a soothsayer along."

My offer to Vaanak still stands, but I don't know if it is something she needs or wants help with.

Alright. Everyone going touch me now...~Barnabas looks around to make sure no one else is coming then begins to chant~ by the quickness of air, I alter thee spell teleport.~Poof~

Bera teleported three times to reach the Northern Barbarian Lands. After tracing and following each teleport, the group appears in the frigid and wind-swept northlands – in the midst of a Barbarian encampment.

An older, well-armored one shouts “YOU’VE BEEN FOLLOWED, BERA!” while he and others grab for their weapons, but Olaf raises his arms in a calming gesture. “By friends! They are with me. We have fought side-by-side.”
The Barbarians stand down, and the older one says, “Then introduce us, Olaf Starwarrior.”

“Olaf of the Sky! I know Bera has been saying otherwise, but Olaf name Olaf, not Bera!”

“Olaf of the Sky?” The elder says, chewing over the words, “Are you sure?”

“YES!!”

“Very well, Olaf of the Sky. Let us become familiar with these visitors to our tribe!”

Olaf names each person in turn, and prompts them each to say something impressive about themselves. There are murmurs and sidelong glances to one another when Va speaks of herself and their children. Following that he names each of the Barbarians present, including the elder, his father.

Then Olaf addresses those from Midway. “Olaf thanks you for your concern, my friends, but is safe amongst clan. You may stay or leave, as you wish, but there is a challenge before Olaf that he must conquer. I must remain here awhile, but will return soon…” He looks to his mother. “…Victorious.”

Bera huffs. “This is not a war of muscle and steel, Olaf!”

“But one of honor!” Olaf replies. “Olaf does not make vows lightly! You wish me to break mine to Va, but Olaf sees future better than you this time – that will *not* happen!”

Bera sets her jaw. “Sometimes one must choose the lesser disgrace.”

[Barnabas Vulcan]

~Looks to Aurora just before casting~ You are quite welcome. ~After the teleport listens to Olaf the speaks~ I cannot speak for anyone else, but I myself would like to stay. ~Looks to the others and waits for a response~

Va's chest puffs slightly with pride as Olaf speaks of the battle he intends on winning, and the look on his mothers face.

"Olaf, you know I want to stay here with you but if you want me to go I will wait for you in Midway." She hands him Kavar who was fussing to go to his father.

Olaf takes Kavar for the moment and hugs Va tight. “Olaf could never command Va to stay or go. Olaf know better than that! But the children should not be here. The Northlands are a place they should earn by making the long journey from Midway when they are of age. Ah, the names they shall have when they arrive!”

He turns to Bera with anger flashing in his eyes. “THAT is when the proper introductions should have been made!”

Then turns back to Va. “She meddles. It is what she does. She interprets the winds and tells the tribe what must be done, but often Olaf thinks more than the will of the winds is in her words. Please take the children back to Midway. Olaf will return soon, once Ulfgar’s fate is known. His may be on the winds, but ours is set in stone. Never doubt that.”

[Vaanak]

Vaanak nods her face split into a huge grin. She hugs Olaf again."I will await your return to Midway, Olaf." After a few moments she rips her gaze away from his to glance around at his clan. Still smiling she takes Kavar back from his father and makes ready to leave.
