I would hesitate to confront a litch lord without a strong mage and someone who can disenchant very well. Lochlainn, Torvach, and I will be the strongest warriors in town with all of you gone.

*She nods to Darthesis in respect while continuing on*

While I'm sure Darthesis' skills would be helpful in such an adventure, I doubt he would like to be in the front line assault. I seriously doubt that we three warriors can take the magical attacks a Litch can throw at us. We could take some of the less experienced adventurers, but with as strong as the monsters were in that cave that the Litch controlled, I think we'd only be leading them to their deaths.

*Solari finds himself some how walking down a hall and comes to his senses as Eld disappers* Well fuck... perhaps someone might have suggested that the thing that makes undead MIGHT be in safe hands with essence mages. If the Red Tear or any powerful undead is making undead out of thin air maybe they should know about it so they can research it.

I can of course track Eld if you wish for a nominal fee...

And yes I doubt I'd want to confront the lich lord with a small group even hiding behind the likes of the Mighty Kathryn Skress, but we could track back to his location before he decides to move into hiding making it much easier to reach him when a force has been assembled.

And btw... are we certain exactly that this IS a lich lord? I've heard that this is the 'lich's master'... that offers more than a few options. None of which are things we want to leave as our children's nanny... but finding what this is will be important as well.

If a group is assembling and my price is met, we could do our best to find and do scouting against the thing that created or activated this item.

My understanding of this whole lich thing is that it's the master of the lich you all killed when you rescued me when I was about to be served up on that alter for something. I have no idea what as I was a bit out of it at the time and had my skin torn into by one of his minions. Not to mention having my life essence drained out of me when you were attacking him.

*She turns to Llyshon*

Eld took the talisman I believe these things are coming from with Elrick. They are going to I guess do their best to secure it for now and apparently I'm the only one who things disenchanting the thing is a good idea. Most believe *she nods in the direction of Darthsis* for me to do so would reveal my hand that I could be onto them.

I guess good thing so far is that they aren't trying to kill anyone else, just me. Apparently after I leave these things go down rather quickly.

Oh if we can hold off leaving with Chronixx until morning Eld will meet us at the Inn and buff us for our journey. I seriously doubt I'll sleep much anyway tonight though I should inform one of the groups I'm staying with that I'll be gone for a bit and well keep an eye out for those things that keep coming after me.

*She starts thinking*

Kathryn what if you merely take a small grou and just track this lich master and kept tabs on his whereabouts. That way once we are all back we can end this. Just an idea.

I really don't see myself as a warrior. I'd be willing to go along, but I'm not a front line fighter. There are many more skilled warrior's than I.

We could perhaps track him. It might be best to see if Aldrian is about, just in case. He's a better tracker then I. It would be nice to have a scry shield over us so the master doesn't know we are coming. And a teleport capability for the group of us in case the master finds us anyway.

*To Darthesis again*

What would you charge for your services for a scouting mission? I'd hate to run into some nasty traps along the way, and I hope you could provide the scry shield as well.

I have no children... that I know of... the thought simply amused me at the moment, and I do live for amusement.

As for the scouting, I agree we'll likely want a wilderness tracker, but first we'd need to know where this person Kimberlyn got the object from is. I think I heard a name, so we can track from there. If you need urban tracking, I can handle that. However I doubt this person is the lich's master and he may or may not be knowingly involved.

If you wish me to provide a reasonable scry shield over whatever team is assembled, and go with them handling traps, urban tracking, limited scrying upon our targets, as well as combat work at least to escape should we be attacked... I can provide all of that for 3 wald... tracking as far as it takes to get to this lich's master or a dead end.

I would advise bringing a few warriors, a mage if possible, one wilderness tracker, and one seer. We can get by with less, however it means we may hit a dead end should there be guards left, teleportations involved, tracking through the wood, or misdirectin used.

*Llyshon nods to Kathryn* "I know. It's unlikely that you will be able to confront it without us, but Darthesis summarized my thinking perfectly. Even if we must wait to attack him, we can at least track him down and make future efforts easier."

*He offers Kimberlyn a thin smile*, "Discenchanting that item is a good idea, but it's a matter of timing. Now is not the time... best not to play our hand too soon. Hopefully Eld will find a way to contain it."

The individual who gave me the item was the Baron Magistrate Vincent Helm.

I don't like waiting, but obviously we're in a game, a deadly game of poker I guess. Just let me know when I can reveal my hand, ok for I'm itching to release a few things I'm keeping under control.

Well, Baron Magistrate Helm is located in Ports End. I don't think he'll be hard to find should we go looking for him. I can just arrange a meeting with him as if we had House business to discuss.

To follow up on the second possible location of the litch's master, I am an expert in wilderness tracking, but I believe Aldrian is a Master. It would be best to see if he is available, just in case. Some of the parts of that cave were hand-made though, so the urban tracking might be needed too.

How good of a mage is Eld? Is he going with you on the boat, and if not, could he teleport a small party? Solari may be able to do that too. I'm sure he'd welcome the chance to find and destroy the master of a litch.

Baron Magistrate Helm. He might not have been aware of what that things does as I stated earlier. If I recall it was given to him to give to me. What House business would you be using to get up the meeting?

As for Eld, not he isn't going with us. He just offered to us magic to give Llyshon, myself, and I'm sure Chronixx for that matter a few extra magical protections and all.

As for a seer, my own abilities are good, but limited and at the time it's been discussed I use said abilities to cloak myself. The sylvini Eve, she has the gift for certain and is better then I am. I'm not sure she is a master or not, but she is at the very least an expert.
