"Hail, brave heroes of midway. I am Sir Ulric and I seek help. I have a report from a peasant that, just outside the town of Miller's down, the mud from the road leapt up and swallowed a caravan. Personally, I think starvation is probably making him see things, but there was a caravan due in town that day that never arrived, so perhaps there is some credence to what he claims. If you could, I'd appreciate it if you would investigate what happened. I can arrange training up to expert in any skill for those willing to aid the cause of the knighthood."
