Sara, I mean, I could use death strikes, but I want people to stop me. (I meant can Eld prevent the elf from taking that much damage.)

Kathryn has and always will use a long sword. I've pansied out a bit in my old age and don't wear skirts anymore though. Too hard with armorNalfein Xarann wrote: Man I still remember you and I fighting in that one module. Side by side. You were wielding a Bastard Sword I think? And fighting in a proper skirt. If I remember right it was like only you and me? I don't remember what we were fighting but I remember that being a defining moment for our character's relationships.

I won't tell you yes or no, but if you really don't know then you have a long way to come as a mage yet, young padawan.Adoven wrote:Sara, I mean, I could use death strikes, but I want people to stop me. (I meant can Eld prevent the elf from taking that much damage.)

Asking whether Eld can prevent someone from taking that much damage (assuming you'd live long enough to dish it out against Nalfein), is meta-gaming. It's using out of game information for in-game stuff. Attacking him only when you know other people are around that could save him would also be meta-gaming.
It is really nice of you that you're concerned for your fellow player, but he knew that he stood a high chance of getting killed by another player. If that's how the RP plays out, it's how it plays out.
