Hey, new player/first-time larper here intending to attend the Nov. 17 event.

I'm working on my character right now, going for a kind of sorceresque type, but I can't seem to locate any of the charm school spells.

I can see the example of the "befriend" spell given in the incantation section of the text (the pdf V.5.12.1 downloaded from the main page) but I don't see a single charm spell in the spell lists (it seems to be the only school completely absent from them). I also downloaded the most recent addendum from the main page and don't see any in there either.

I had intended to specialize in the charm school and definitely create the character knowing some charm spells.

Am I missing a supplemental text? Could someone direct me to or give me a list of the charm school spells?

For a long time in Silverthorne (The Kingdom we are in), Charm spells were illegal. That has since changed. I will see if i cant dig up some charm spells for you.

Hold off on school specialization for now.

We are improving and reworking the spell schools. Right now though I'd wait until next year to specialize as the new schools won't be finished until then.

Honestly you'd be better off in the current system as a water specialiast over a charm specialist, but that's going to change once we get all the kinks worked out.

Thanks! I appreciate the heads up on specialization. I'll hold off on any specialization for now but I still definitely want to have some charm spells.
