21
From Darkness they'll come, fearing the Light that could smother,
Hating each other, yet fearing the Light, they will seek one another.
For now, none will follow or bow, no clear General to make decree.
In this lies the Hope that good people can cope
Together in cause, seeing the next Age in scope,
Thus could the Age that should be now become the Age about to be.

Hummm...I'm wondering if this could be talking about the dark elves.

I had thought this stanza was in reference to Necromancers.

I also think this could be in reference to Necromancers. It could go either way, but I think Necromancers make a little more sense.

You have more of an insight into this then I. If it is necromancers then so be it.

I'm just guessing that this stage. I would rather hear what you and Jenna think thus far, so that I'm not way outside of reasonable conclusions.

Guess then what you are meaning is that necromancers will be brought out from behind the shadows and into the light to be deal with?

Basically, what I have gathered is that:
They come from the darkness, fearing the light.
They hate even one another, yet try to band together.
None of them wish to follow, and none can choose one to lead.
This fact brings hope to those of good character.
We, seeing their dilemma can band against them while they cannot organize enough to band against us.

Ok, ok...makes perfect sense to me and you are right a bunch of necromancers would not be able to work together for they will be fighting amonst themselves for leadership and in time they would destroy themselves.

Guess this means folks many a necromancer will be coming out of the woodworks and people will be busy.

I...I don't think that my darker brethren should be ruled out a...as a possibility though. None that I know of fear the light as they do a...and that is emphasized much here. They also have lost their leader Delilah, correct. The necromancers would fit also but they do have a leader and e..even though another stanza says that the Master will not be part of the coming battle at this point w..would he not still be considered their leader?

Necromancers tend to not have a "general" of sorts for they all want to become the ultimate ruler of them all.

The Master is way out of commission if Sir Alrich and his people are after him.

I mean I was not ruling out dark elves either Solari, but I think Winter has it correct.

The darks elves I am certain have a queen, in fact if memmory serves me correct from when I had a bounty on my head by them, don't they have like a Council of Queens?

The Master is not the leader of the Necromancers, as Kimberlyn is correct, they have no leader.

The Dark Elves do have leadership, which is why they are such a threat to the Dwarves.

I beleive this stanza refers to the necromancers for not only reasons I have already stated, but because we tend to face them one by one. The Hags being an exception. Necromancers try to band together and fail ... this will be our advantage.

Which is why if we are lucky enough we can pick them off one by one before some can rise to try to become like Regal or the Master.

So, if anyone comes across any information on any necromancers in the area please inform myself of a member of the Guild of Mages.

I have confirmed that this stanza does indeed refer to Necromancers.

*she smiles*

Consider this a bit of light among several bits of dark prophecy.
