Once a man, now a Master, yet prevented by action by a light's shadow.
His time is past, his Destiny done, a fate avoided chases him now.
From the War before, he has no part in the War to come.

Please discuss below.

This I got from talking to Twilight.

This means that The Master, you know the big bad necromancers of all necromancers thus far will not be a part of this coming war for his time has passed.

Basically Sir Alrich will keep this boy in check or the two of them will take each other out, but the Master will be stopped.

I am sure you know this, Kimberlyn, but perhaps to explain the passage more fully...
Once a man, now a Master, yet prevented by action by a light's shadow
.

A man, once (and again now) a powerful Necromancer, was persued by a powerful Essence mage (Aldric) during the war.
His time is past, his Destiny done, a fate avoided chases him now.
It is said that he was able to elude Aldric until he reached the Pool of Destiny, at the bottom of the Cave of the Ancients. There, he gained a new Destiny, and immediatly determined that his Destiny was to ensure that Necromancers would win the war. By doing so, he also avoided confronting Aldric. Of course, it didn't quite end this way because Alric also reached the Pool of Destiny, but that has no bearing here.
From the War before, he has no part in the War to come.
This seems to say that since The Master was part of the previous war and his Destiny has already been carried out, he will have no part in the upcoming war.

*Twilight eyes Fate suspiciously for a moment*

You are quite well-versed in your Lore. Of which Hall do you hail?

**blushes and stammers a few seconds, then takes a deep breath**

I hail from no Hall, as my mother did not see fit to birth me in our homeland.

Everything I have mentioned here, I have gathered by simply listening to the townsmembers in the last few months since I have arrived.... you really are all quite talkative.

*Kimberlyn looks over to Twilight, nods her heard, and then turns to Fate and looks at her a bit suspiciously as well*

Humm...they are talkative, but not that well-versed. Not in some of thing thing you have mentioned.

*Twilight smiles*

Impressive. I agree, but had thought the townsfolk too busy listening to themselves speak to actually hear the words spoken. I am quite impressed, and am certain you find yourself privy to much interesting information.

This story was told by the fire one evening, I believe by Dimack of Mahuru. Where he gained the knowledge, I do not know.

*to Kimberlyn*

If you do not wish my assistance, then please tell me now. Perhaps there is work to be done in the Healers Guild...?

*Kimberlyn softens*

Hey, hey...no we do need your help and that of everyone. My appologies for I tend to be suspicious of people whom I barely know. Call it my upbringing if you will.

Stay..sit...and let us continue with this brainstorming session.

*smiles hesitantly*

Perhaps first impressions do deserve a second look.

*she reseats herself*

Now, where were we?

*Twilight smiles at Fate and rolls her eyes in Kimberlyn's direction*

Yes, don't mind her ... she's a bitch to everyone.

*she smirks at Kimberlyn*

I think its part of her job description.

*Kimberlyn leans back and acts a little more at ease*

The Master, we have already decided he is out due to using that staff, Alrich on his tail, etc.
