13
The conflict as old as the blood of the elves shall flare up anew.
The one who is imprisoned, the one who leads the many, and
She who leads but one shall all cry out for the death of their foes
At any cost.
Either thrice beaten and sent away or triumphant, all will be decided
Before the snow is come and gone.
But hope remains that some shall stay to help ensure
The greater fight is won.

Please discuss below.

Ok if this is the case then this was is about to erupt and possibly done before winter has come and gone.

There will be people left then from both sides to assist us with the greater war with the necromancers.

Thanks for pointing it out to me Winter. Got it when I saw the whole discord reference, but now this one makes sense as well.

This stanza refers to the on-going war between Chaos and Order.

We should all know that the Order Knights are gathering their forces.

Yes, the outcome of this war will be decided before the coming Spring.

Order knights.

*Kimberlyn looks into the fire for a moment*

Nevermind....

*Twilight replies, but her gaze remains fixed on the papers in front of her*

If never mind, then why bother mentioning it?

For I do not like the fact the order knights have their own version of what I am.

*Looks at Twilight*

Just didn't feel like babbling and would rather listen to you.

*Twilight still does not remove her eyes from the pages in front of her ... shuffling through and cross referencing*

Do not allow the knowledge that you are not unique cause your attentions to stray from your chosen task.

It is hard to explain.

Just feel like this individual is a pervision of what a Mage Slayer is. As if this person has been tampered with.

*She looks at Twilight*

See, babbling.

Okay, so what I gather this is saying, Order and Chaos get to fight, either Chaos wins again or Order does, but it's the end all be all for now, but it really dosen't matter, as long as some stick around to hgelp with the real fight? Correct me if I'm wrong

*Twilight regards Dietrich with a smile*

Sounds accurate.

Works for me. Rather spend my attention elsewhere.

A Message

*A Messenger arrives in town and delivers the following missive to those gathered near the fire-pit discussing the prophecy*

I regret that I am unable to be in town to deliver this myself, but affairs in Syl'Van'Dar have kept me longer than anticipated.

What other information I have gathered in reference to The Prophecy can wait until my return, but I felt that this must be delivered as soon as possible.

I had origionally deemed that Order has lost the last three battles against Chaos. I was incorrect. It would appear as if Order has lost the last two battles - and this battle is the deciding factor.

The Prophecy states:
Either thrice beaten and sent away or triumphant

If Order loses this third battle, it will be sent away from the realm of Phantara. Everything even remotely associated with the concept of Order - rules, laws, formulas, every last thing, will be banished from this realm.

I am not saying that everyone should turn to support Order. I am not saying that Order must win. I only urge you to find a way to prevent Order from losing. In order to uphold the Balance, we must maintain that Order is not banished from Phantara. Just as if it were Chaos who had lost the last two battles, we must maintain that it too not be banished - for both are necessary to the continued workings of this Realm.

I do hope my words do not fall on deaf ears, and I am confident that there are those of you who will do everything in your power to maintain the Balance. I do wish I were available to discuss this with you all. I shall return as soon as I am able.

In Service,
Twilight
