Food, drink, beer, and ale; in stories they excel,
The jolly ones, so small and sure, they may soon bid farewell.
Though none may see they have a use, they know our history,
By word of mouth they hold our tales; this is no mystery.
Now come the end, it is not skills in speaking or in tales,
But cunning quick and slight of hand if they are to prevail.
To act as scout, and engineer, to chase away the fear,
With tale or skill or pie or bread, or tankard full of beer.

Please discuss below

Hmmm.... this seems to refer to either the gnomes or the guthries, since both are small, fun loving peoples.

Guthries are good with the stories and all and probably have a good portion of our history. Basically I am leaning more towards guthrie on this one.

Then again, the most experience I have with the two shows that Gnomes are more of the engineer and drinking types...hmm

This:
"Now come the end, it is not skills in speaking or in tales,
But cunning quick and slight of hand if they are to prevail."

seems to imply that Guthrie rogueish types will come in handy during the coming conflict. So if anyone knows one, keep 'em on yer good side.

They also "know our history" and may be able to help decode other parts of the prophecy. A master Guthrie storyteller might be a good source for this, should anyone see one.

Guthrie it is then and humm...perhaps it is time to use some street finding skills to see if one can locast a master story-telling guthrie.

I have some serious training going on currently, but hopefully someone else might wanna look into doing this.

Someone, maybe even a Guthrie, maybe Ferran.

If he doesn't know anything he would be and ideal individual who could go and find someone for us.

Is there not a guthrie storyteller who will be present in a few days time? Or did I "dream" this?

*Twilight smiles at Raven*

No, you did not dream this. I am eagerly looking forward to hearing what stories he may have to tell.

Isn't the story teller already here? I thought I saw Bombour talking to a new guthrie...

To change topics from what we have been discussing, since I was out of town for a good portion of Saturday.

Was anyone able to aquire any information relevent to the Prophesy from the Guthrie story-teller who was suppose to be in town that afternoon?

*Twilight glares once more at the Dark Elf present*

The Guthrie storyteller was able to inform us about how the Dark Elves were able to use their magics to catch the Dwarves off-guard.

*she frowns, her features solemn as she whispers*

They slaughtered the entire Clan Draconis, while the warriors were battling on the front lines.

*Kimberlyn grips the hilt of her shortswords and glared even more coldly at the dark elf.*

I had already heard about that, but I just thought I would ask to see if there was something more.

*She looks at Twilight and then closes her eyes for a moment in an attempt to remain calm.*

*gulps in trepidation*

The story teller also said the.... the...

*glances at Inyoch*

the dark elves had stolen the Draconis clan sword. The Draconis, due to their scarce numbers, are no longer considered a clan of the dwarves.
