Thanks Twilight. He's a devious man, relentless, cruel, and is not prone to leaving survivors.

I'm terrified of him.

Know that if he were to enter Midway in search of you, there are those here who would fight to defend you.

I don't think that he would necessarily come after me.

It is I who will probably make the first move.

It was he who made me a Champion of Gromm's Horde. However I was nothing compared to his power. Slogg was able to defeat my true father. I do not think that Slogg would be able to defeat my false one.

As with many lines in this prophecy, as well as many instances in life. There are those battles that were never meant to be fought alone.

Sometimes we have no choice. To bring back lost honor sometimes one must do things on their own.

My father realized that near the end...

Nyhtrak, what winter says is correct. As she has beat it into my head numberous time, there are fights we are not meant to fight alone.

There are people in this town who will help you, all you need to do is ask.

I have a war to set in motion and I know those who's help I will need.

It may take time, but I foresee far too much death in my future.

I've had enough of war, but apparently war may not have had enough of me?

This war does not involve the Kingdom of Silverthorn.

Perhaps you feel the war you intend to set in motion has nothing to do with the Kingdom of Silverthorn. But if it is a part of the War mentioned in this Prophecy, then it won't matter what Kingdom one resides in, the coming War will touch us all.

No, it does not involve the Kingdom Nyhtrak...you are correct on this one.

However, you do have these things called friends and they are here to assist you and help you do what you need to do.

We are stronger together then alone, don't forget that.

Has anyone ever been to the other side of the Sea of Dust? that seems to be where the Fire Elves now reside if I am interpreting this right. Maybe someone should travel there and see what is to be found there.?

I wanted to make sure that it was known that I do not intend to participate in a war within the bounds of the Kingdom of Silverthorn.

Else I go back to the royal dungeons once again. I would rather not, for it is far to cold and dark there.

new thoughts.

some new thoughts on this one.

This stanza I am almost certain refers to the fire elves. But it also speaks of HOW we can get there aid in this coming war and what we need to do to get it. We must blind the dark eye.

The dark eye. I believe to be the red tear, or perhaps in a larger sense Necromancers. The sea turned to dust is definately the sea of dust, in which resides a city of necromancers. From what i understand at this point the fire elves were normal elves up until the staff was used and some became magic dead. Since then they have lived in the sea of dust avoiding all contact, we assumed because they didnt want it. What if the reason is because they dont know of us anymore...because the Dark Eye is preventing them contact with all others?

We must find a way to blind the dark eye and make contact with these Fire elves if we are to complete this stanza.

More detail.

Before the Second Breaking, their race was one,

Before the breaking all elves where one, correct?

Divided by ocean, now turned to dust.

The sea of dust used to be an ocean right and it was destroyed in the great war, just as the next line states.

They fought the Great War before Dark Eye scorched.

They wander by ship and skiff, under high sun,
They rest under shadow of the sleeping one.

Knowing only a little about the fire elves I can only assume this means they travel the sea of dust on boats made to travel on sand. Im not sure about the sleeping one, but it could be a reference to regis mortum since I would guess he sleeps in the necromantic city in the sea of dust.

Children of Dust, they wait for the Child of Bough.

Childred of dust (fire elves), wait for the child of Bough...as determined by another stanza this is believe to be the child of the NOBLE elven house of silvandar.

Hoping to become One once more, lest live ever alone.

They want to re-unite with the other elves of silvandar.

Blind the Dark Eye so they may hear the call.

Again..I believe this to mean we must somehow distract the necromancer city in the sea of dust to allow this elven noble to contact the Fire elves.

Anyone got anymore input here?

The Chronicle of the Essence War speaks of a Bowl of Sight. Perhaps this Bowl has something to do with blinding the Dark Eye. Perhaps we have to re-take the Bowl from them.
