Comets, comets one by one, seven to fall.
One to mark the return of the Hunter, heir to the Age of Heroes.
One to herald the birth of the true feathered King.
One to warn that the mages of both life and death remain,
One for the forces of Discord that were thought destroyed,
One for the Eye that has yet to see,
One for the broken feather of Life made whole,
One for the men who totem beasts, to cast off fears of old.

Please post theories below.

**Wanders over from the Inn and reads through the scroll**

I'm sure this is already obvious, but the third line in this section appears to refer to the prophecy child born to the avayanna a few years ago.

If I recall correctly, was there also not two other children born the same night.... a human and... oh, I can't remember the other.

I wish I knew who the Hunter is this is heir to the age of heros.

As for the bith of the true feather King, that has already come to pass. There is this Avayana baby that was under the protection of Dimack. I do not know where the child is, maybe Nyhtrak does now for perhaps he was able to find the child and put him under his protection. I do not know, but the old King wants this child dead.

The comet that was for the forces of discord I believe marked the birth of Nemesis's and Lothar's child. Due to the fact discord to me means chaos and in theory this child is destined to be a chaos magi for that feud has definately heated up and especially around town.

The one for the men who totem beasts, to cast off fears of old could have something to do with the barbarians. Perhaps once Thane Galen has them all united that comet will fall if it has not so already.

The comet, if it fell to warn that the mages of both life and death remain could have fallen to because this war is about to resume all over again. The battle between necromancy and essence is once again going to take place. That a huge war is about to be upon us all once again.

The one comet for the eye that has yet to see could make either the birth of a great seer or perhaps an individual coming into their abilities and this individual will be a very powerful sooth-sayer and all.

As for the broken feather of life...I have not a clue on this.

Again these are all theories. Lore and all is not exactly my game, but shooting from the hip and going with one's instincts is.

Redrick will not have the child. I fear that now this is being discussed in the open we may see the number of agents he has in the area increase. Unfortunately I do not believe I can stand up to the forces that Dimack stood up to. I will, however, do my best.

Ebek, I will need your assistance in this. We must protect the child.

Three comets fell at once, to herald the birth of the Avianna Child destined to be the new King, the Human Child destined to be the First Tome of House Toevass, and an Elven Child, I believe. The Lady Wren had more insight into the first of these comets.
The forth comet fell a few moons ago, heralding the birth of the Chaos Child, the child of Nemesis.
The fifth comet fell upon the death of the Great Seeress who gave us this Prophecy.
We await the fall of the last two comets.

So, just trying to match up the comets here Winter, does this mean the other two would be the one marking the Hunter and the one involving the Men with the Totem beasts..umm...the barbarians?

The comets fall in the order they are listed. So the last two listed will be the last two to fall, that have yet to fall.

So, who was the Hunter...

Hey wait, could that have been maybe the mark of the origional Mage Slayer being brought into this time...Natashia?

She came into existance roughly around this time and had been way for over a hundred years when she was trapped in that void along with the 13 Towers.

It was just a thought.

That means then it is the One of the broken feathers of Life made whole and the One for the men who totem beast, to cst off fears of old.

Think I understand what one refers to but not the other.

Mine as well, as little as I may have. If the war is to be won this time all of Phantera will need to be united against the coming Darkness or I fear that my peoples may be scattered to the winds even more than we are now. Those of my race will never give up the fight against the Darkness but as proven in the past that will not be enough.

Could the last line refer to Ga'vin they also totem beasts? Most of the other races have been included in this.

I hope that my skills shall not be needed, for if they are, it is a grave time indeed for the child, but know that I will assist you in whatever way possible.

As you may or may not remember, I have once already aided Dimack in protecting this child. I have given my word already to him to aid in any way I can, and so pass that word down to any and all who seek to protect this child from harm.

Thank you all.

There is one way for certain to keep the child protected.

Mohdri, if you have a moment I would like to speak with you in private sometime.

If anyone did not notice, a red comet flew across the sky on the night that the Birds of Life flew over town.

One for the broken feather of Life made whole

Klogg's sword, Sliver, has been re-forged.

If I might ask a perhaps dumb question Winter. Who is wielding it now?
