I know what a drake is. I've killed a few. I was just trying to remember the creature Blackthorne wanted awaken that the bell had something to do with.

So, I was thinking outloud and gotta admit the gnome and guthrie fictional creature was sort of funny.

I saw this funny looking drake once when I went through this portial with Terrance once and tried to fight the silly thing before I was really any good with my weapons and all. I think he refered to it as the fabeled creature, but hey he could have been having an off day too.

Still, seems that if you can remove the darkness the war would be over overnight. That may take magical intervention, which is why the dwarves are twisting on the point of a knife.

I'm not certain on this and I am certain we can ask him if he is around. I think Rooks is researching a method by which to remove that darkness.

You are correct, Kim, Shard was working on research on a bell for Blackthorn when they both went their own ways. Blackthorn even asked me about it the last time he was around. I think the bell (believe in dragons or not) was somthing Angus was searching for before he bravely died in battle. Little was know about Angus' work, but it seemed to be centered around uniting the wild and sea dwarves together with their hill-dwelling cousins. Some may not believe in dragons (ok, most do not), but I know the dwarves do, and this bell (actually a magic item or not) could be a rallying point for all the dwarves.

Ok, so if the bell really does exist, all we must do is find it and give it to the dwarves to ring... right?

[Faerykin]

*Twilight visibly cringes at the mention of Shardalana's name*

Last I knew, Shardalana had Peprin killed so that she could take posession of this bell. Kimberlyn, you were there. Did she take the bell with her when she left Midway for good?

*pause*

If she did take it with her. Good luck finding it ...

*she trails off as she ruffles the papers in front of her, a little over-harsh.

*Kimberlyn sits there thinking for quite some time before speaking.*

Hummm...I cannot remember exactly. If memmory serves me correctly I do not think Peprin had the pieces of the bell on him when she set him...well a few of us up.

To tell you the truth Winter, I am not certain. Shard could have left with the pieces or Peprin could have hid them somewhere and we have no idea where that location is.

*The Slayer appears uncomfortable with the topic of conversation and looks at Twilight.*

For what it is worth, I am as uncomfortable talking about this as you are Winter. Had I of known then what I discovered not more then a few mere months after it all occured, things would have been different.

*She pauses*

Is there a way in which we could attempt to locate this bell? Figure out what exactly happened to it?

*She looks at Mohdri*

Do either you or Galen know what happened to the bell? You two were closer to the situation then I was, so some insight would help.

[Solari Son of the Mother]

*Solari reaches out and puts his hand on Twilight's shoulder*

Who is this Shardalana that causes so much stress? Is there any way to find if she has this bell?

[Faerykin]

*Twilight pauses, takes a deep breath and places a hand gently on Solari's*

Think nothing more of Shardalana ... for she was full of deception.

*she sighs as she adverts her eyes from those gathered*

... she is also dead.

[Solari Son of the Mother]

Then we shall speak no more of her, but the bell it seems needs to be found.

*Solari then whispers something into Twilight's ear and gives her a quick hug*

*Twilight smiles as she returns the hug, whispering something back to Solari. After a moment, she visibly relaxes and 'gets back to business.'

*Kimberlyn looks up at the sky and notices the sun beginning to set. She then gets up.*

Well, I hate to leave, but I have somewhere I need to be. If you all figure out more of this I would really appreciate if someone could fill me in on it.

*She leans over and whispers in Twilight's ear.*

*With that Kimberlyn heads into the woods and departs.*

**sitting at the table after the weekend, rolling bandages and looking over the prophecy**

Twilight, did I hear you say this weekend that the Bell has been found?

*Kimberlyn's ears perk up*

Has it? If so, when do we get it to the dwarves?

[Faerykin]

*Twilight smiles as she shakes her head*

I would think you would realize by now, Fate, not to listen to all of the petty gossip that goes around. That is, after all, what will lead us on our most time-consuming wild goose chases.

*she sighs*

Not everyone believes in the Prophecy ... yet we have provided for anyone - ally or enemy - to hear our interpretations. I am certain that if the bell has been found, that whoever posesses it is weighing what should come of it.
