complaints from the peasants

The local villages of both Green grove and Millers Down have had numerous complaints of odd weather phenomena. The effects seem to range from cloud formations that seem to be leering at them to odd colored fogs rolling in. There have even been reports of hostile vegetables raining from the sky. Word from the elders is that they intend to consult the local mages guild for aid.
On another note there seems to be a party of adventures that are lost somewheres in the vicinity of Midway.
The group appears to be composed of two humans, a gnome, a ga'vin, a half-orc, and a wagon drawn by a donkey. Apparently the group appears at a village, seeks out the elder, and then ask for directions to Millers Down. The group has been doing this since last moon and seems unwilling to give up.
Elder Geoffery is reported to have threatened to give them a “sound thrashing with my walking hatchet” next time they come through, as his village has been bothered by this group no less than four separate times. Rumor is that they may be cursed to wander or something.
