Spring of 1007

Post by X-GM Fesko »

The hole filled in and the floor repaired, the Inn is again opened for business! Tenants flock back to the free room and board offered for adventurers.

The glow to the north has shifted back from a deep purple to a firey red. Wahuru scouts report the Red Tear have abandoned their control of Mount Tyrsis, allowing lava to flow forth once more from it’s active crater. Now their tens of thousands appear to be forming up for another push South – their focus once again seems to be on Legacy.

While military leaders may be grim, the morale of the common freemen of the local towns has never been higher. Crops and livestock have always done well in the gift, but the last few days have been phenominal. Numerous births fill the barns, and it seems a harvest will be necessary this week. Town healers relax on their cabin porches, no sick to tend, while midwives run frantic. The elderly fondly quote the old superstition “There must be a Unicorn in the fields.”

Even the common infantry have cause to celebrate. Word has arrive and spread quickly that the first ships carrying troops from Silverthorne City have arrived at Ironguard (Port’s End). The shipwrights of the capitol have apparently been very busy, and vast fleets of transports promise a steady stream of reinforcements over the next year.
