I realize things will be developing as we go, but..... (and if you want me to just go with the flow and stop posting just say so. ;) ) .. How the heck does a Keep with Deaths head markings within 5 minutes of town a year and a half in Happen!! No way I would have stood for those types of shenanagens in my town! Unless it was mine.

I think he means, a gentle came in, took a plot of land, and started building. The "deathheads" are not heads are they? I think they are signs. Like a beware of the Dog sign.

Soco got it in one! By 'Deathheads' I mean a pictures of skull and crossbones like on a poison bottle - for the illiterate rabble.

Markus arrived a year ago with construction teams. His Majordomo hired PCs to find a clear a suitable cave for him to settle in and begin construction on. It's hardly a keep - just a tower built on a developed cave with a low privacy wall around it.
