*Twilight scowls at Ebek*

Burn the poison out of his body? How ludicrous!

Crazy as it seems... it might work. I'm not saying we explore that option, but it is an option. Well... more like a last friggin resort...

Well, you know... if the poison attacks the essence... what happens when there's no more essence to attack?

Maybe meditate on this? Or throw some bones or dice or whatever?

The healer has already stated that if he dies he will not come back. I see no reason no to believe that.

Won't come back if poison kills him. Poison destroys essence. But could deny poison essence if we act quickly.

throwing her hands up in confusion

Post by Mary Baker »

Well, I don't think I can do anything to help. I am not a healer, and any other ideas I have had, have only caused arguement. I think I will just stand outside here and hope for the best. I am only in the way.
IF there is anything I CAN do, please let me know. I'll be right outside the building.
Mary walks out, patting Nyrhtak's shoulder and giving a smile to Daniel.
Kathryn? Shall we compare notes outside? Actually maybe I will go find the house girl and ask her a few questions.

*Twilight turns from speaking with Solari and begins mumbling to herself*

If only we could discover what that vision meant.

Here's a question for you all...

In what experiences been outside your body and have seen it from an outside view? Maybe that could help us answer the vision...

Maybe viewing your own body *is* something that happens when you die. Hell, I dont know... I don't remember what happens when I die. *shrugs*

'Kill him'. The vision meant 'kill him'. Seperate the essense from the body.

*A grumpy dwarf stumbles towards the house in his breast plate and axe in hand. He looks to be still waking up as he heads here.*

What in the bloody hell is going on? This is why I like dwarvin homes, quiet, easy to sleep, not all this...

*Pauses as he notices the scene, he looks a bit shocked.*

Well....

<Jenna has conducted an examination of the victim>

Magic's a piss-poor substitute for anti-venom. And there won't be any shufflin' bodies around 'til I got a practicable cure in him. The shiftin' of the muscles an' blood pumps the poison through sure as Sunday.

<Jenna takes the chunk of ice and smashes it under the heel of her boot. She then produces yards and yards of bandages from the bag and begins wrapping the ice around Sylas's body>

Ice to keep down the body temperature...slows the pro-gress of toxins through the system.

<Jenna grabs a nearby blanket and fashions a crude tent over Sylas's head. She places the vessel of boiling water within it>

Steam to keep the airways open, they're startin' to swell up an' smother him.

<Jenna takes some of the whiskey and sprinkles it over the wounds>

That'll stop the green-sickness from setting in, and it should set him till I come back with the cure. 'Course I can make one, but it's difficult and I'll need my full lab to do it.

<Jenna goes to the table, picks up Bruce, and sets him on Sylas's chest. His tail lashes around and gets stuck in Sylas's beard.>

Bruce, you sit here to watch an' tell me if an' when anything changes. Make sure nobody mucks with him. Mind you don't set on his face.

<eyes Bruce suspiciously>

You were supposed to go before we left...

<Bruce squeals and chitters, looking agitated.>

In *advance*? All right, all right. Open up. Demanding little bugger, ain't ya.

<On cue, Bruce opens his mouth and closes his eyes. Jenna pours a half-shot of whiskey down the big rat's maw. He burps and settles himself on Sylas's chest, staring intently.>

<Jenna strides over to the door and lingers in the doorway for a second>

So how many we got like this? Any more? If a lot...pick the ones you like now.
Jenna's 8th rule: "However long it took to get f*cked up, it'll take longer to fix it."

*Twilight turns to Jenna*

Well, Sylas is the only one exhibiting these particular symptoms. There is an old man in the other room who appears to be in a stasis of sorts. I am uncertain whether or not he is poisoned ... but he is in definite need of physical repair.
