Nyrhtak, as I said before, Re'Gaull was here, but it seems he has gone back through the portal he and this man came through.

The time to plan for Re'Gaul's defeat will soon be upon us. This man must survive, though ... that must be top priority. I understand Jenna is helping Sylas, but where are the other healers?!?

Re'Gaul is back. This Essence Mage is down for the count...

Will he survive? Anyone?

Sylas is in the other room bleeding to death due to a NASTY toxin and we are doing our best to save him.

*Kimberlyn raises an eyebrow at Nyhtrak's reaction upon seeing the old man.*

Winter Twilight believe that Regal was in this room, but has escaped through some portal which brought this essence magi to this location. You sword drawn out in such a fashion is not needed at this time.

*Watches as the magiks Aurora is using to heal have no effect.*

Question, since the magiks are not working to heal this magi, I am wondering if that is due to whatever magical spell he has upon himself. This could be preventing the efforts to heal him.

I do not recognize the spell upon this magi, so it is a theory. In the regard perhaps to heal this man the spell should be removed.

*Looks back over at Nyhtrak*

Once the essance magi is stable, I can continue the investigation of the Jakoric House. However, I do believe Winter Twilight's theory on where Regal went to is more then likely valid.

Until we know the nature of the Spell, I suggest we do nothing to remove it - as it may be what is in fact sustaining him. Can no one identify the Spell?

It is not a theory. When Sylas struck Re'Gaul with the Staff, Re'Gaul was forced back through the portal ... and the portal was closed.

Neither magic or regular healing is helping this man. I can't help him. Was there anything working on him earlier? or has he just been in this state?

Whatever spell is on him we may want to disenchant it before he is removed from any type of raising/resurrection timeframe.

From what I can gather, this is how he was found, and nothing has been able to help him.

Removing the Spell may kill him. Do you not think it best to figure out what exactly is wrong with him, what Spell is upon him, before we go removing anything he may have errected as protection?

Do you think it would help to give the old man his staff back? At the moment it is in the death grip of Sylas's hands. Perhaps we could carry Sylas down here, staff and all?

*DD sits in a corner and can be seen to be talking to his hands quietly. A bag of books appears from his hands. He puts something in his pouch, then begins to look in the bag. Pulling out a few books, he begins to go through them*
