Farewell

*rooks comes down to the inn, he is carrying a pack that appears to be full of books*
Darks days have come upon us all, and in the light I wish to bring to the land I must leave here. In time, I hope to return, and I have no idea how long I shall be gone. This could take but days, or my steps may last for years. Remember, no ones job here is easy, and may those who strive for righteousness prevail.
Goodbye.

If you are leaving to restore the light to the Dwarven Homeland I am willing to come with you as protector Rooks. Do you wish my aid in this task?

by Solari Son of the Mother
*Solari approches the Inn door and stops just outside covered in dust and looking extremely tired, noone has seen him in 2 moons*
Did I hear you correctly Rooks, you will be leaving? That is quite unfortunate as I believe you to be one of only a couple of people in this town that walk wholly in the light. This town has lost many in the past year and many more will probably be lost in the years to come but this loss may be one of the most significant.
May the mother keep you safe and always hold you in her arms and protect you in your travels, my good friend. And may our paths cross again someday. If you do go to restore the light in the Dwarven Homelands then maybe our paths will cross sooner than later.
*Looks to Nyrthak*
I made your... Dimack a promise that I would aid in the restoration of the Dwarven homeland, I plan to keep that promise as soon as my own homeland has been liberated.
*Turns to head in the direction of the Darkwood*

*a smlight smile crosses rooks's face*
I thank your nyrhtak, but this leg of the journey must be completed by me, and me alone. Fear not though, when i return, and i do say when, all shall be ready to take the final steps to righting these wrongs. Both your and Solari's help will do me great service.
In my absence may the hope of this town swell, friendships be kindled and that which is petty be unseen. You all face challenges here, and you all may play a role in the fate of this kigndom. In your unions you will find strength and be bastions of light. You must all do your best to do what you feel is right, and i hope when i return i see the wisdom you have found.

*Spiff smiles at Rooks and nods his head*
Good luck Rooks, be careful, and more luck. Do be safe though, most of my friends that ran off in the name of the greater good are dead now. Don't join'em if you can help it. Have fun or at least try.
So long for now

"I'll see you off with a toast, if you'll join me."
Bombour pours two drinks. One for Rooks and one for himself.
"To our two folk. May they be happy and prosperous. And may their enemies know it."
Bombour drinks and says.
"I will sing your name in the songs of the Dwarves, Rooks. My people thank you."

I will be awaiting your return.
*Nyrhtak turns to Solari*
Solari...speaking of your people, I need your help in something. Do you have a moment?

*Stopping and turning around*
I have naught but time at the moment, and surely I can spare some for you.
