Bombour goes to the doors and walls fo the tavern to look at all of the notices that are posted everywhere.
(OOG: if you have a notice posted somewhere in the tavern, I need you to bring me a phys-rep of the notice. Doug and Matt are exempt as they have placed theirs with me already. Otherwise we will all assume that the notices are removed and used as Orc scrubbers)
He steps back behind the bar and says:
"Is it just me or does it seem like I've been really out of it for the last couple of weeks. Like something else has been going on?" He takes a huge drink and looks at it for a long time. "Maybe I've been drinking too much lately. I Dunno."

*Twilight offers the stranger a smile*
I am known as Winter.
*her smile turns to a grin*
Allow me to be the first to welcome you to Midway ... Barnabas, was it?
*she appears thoughful for a moment before continuing*
As for change, we all know that it is a necessary part of the cycle. The problem arises in establishing what changes to accept and what to decline. There are many who would offer change, but we must determine whether or not their offer is for the greater good.
*contemplating winters words*

*she smiles again*
That is exactly the issue at hand.
Though we deal not with just this little hamlet of Midway, but the entirety of Phantara.

"Here's your drink, and one for "ELF GIRL" as well"
Bombour hands over a drink and one of Elven wine for Twilight, smiling at her hugely.
Bombour takes a huge drink.

*Looks up from a large leather bound book*
There are a few people who are qualified, in my mind, to decide which changes are good and which are not. Those few people are knights, champions for the greater good. The only problem is, there are none that reside in Midway currently. Oh, where are my manners, I am Arthur McBride, Captain of the Guard for Midway. It is an honor to meet you Barnabas.
*Bows his head to him*
I just thought I would add that little tidbit of info into the conversation.
*Smiling to himself and shaking his head slightly he returns to his book*

*Twilight smiles meekly as she accepts the Elven Wine from Bombour*
You know I don't drink, my friend. But ... I will make an exception in this instance.
*she sips the wine as Arthur speaks, then turns to him*
Knights ... let us hope that those two residents of Midway who have started down that path, truly become Champions for the Greater Good.
*she offers Arthur a smile as she raises her glass to him*

*Raises his book to her and nods his head*
As you know the only problem I have is time.... the one great currency that cannot be replaced.

*Nyrhtak pokes his head in the Inn door*
Did someone say something about Time?

*Twilight quickly shoots Nyrhtak a playful glare before returning to sipping her wine*
