All mages of the guild of magi within silverthorns local chapter for midway are hereby Required to attend a meeting at the mages guild tower in the town of midway on Friday at 8pm (or whenever game on gets called).

Hmmmmm....Hey Tee, any idea how long this meeting is going to take? My Mercinary Band is having a meeting around the same time and I'll need all my members present. I can move my meeting up, but I need to know how far.

Who that is a member of the mages guild is also a member of your mercenary band?

I cannot say for certain yet as the final list will not be announced until that Friday. It all depends on who I can contact really. There are a few mages I am interested in bringing into my mercinary band, and I know that some of them are definately interested, however I have not been able to contact all as of yet, nor get a decision from any as of yet. Mages tend to be the elusive and reclusive types.

I will wait outside of the tower for your meeting to end so that we may begin our meeting immediately under the conclusion of your meeting then.

Do mages that have not yet registered with the guild also have to attend if they mean to register at *game on*?

That is something the local Archon will have to decide, and so you should seek an audience with him quickly...

*Two figures enter the Inn. One is male dressed in a grey robe and carrying a longsword. The other individual is obviously female carrying two shortswords and is wearing leather armor. The young woman reads the note and looks at the individuals assembled. She notices Nythrak in a more defensive stance and turns to him.*

Problems Nyhtrak? I see Rooks is having a meeting tomorrow with just the mages. Ah well, I shall pay him my dues and then work on a few things before the party. Perhaps that will include hunting for necromancers and rogue mages.

*She turns to Arthur*

Arthur, mind helping me up at the Mage's Tower with a few things. I still have a bit to do before tomorrow in terms of putting together party supplies.

Guess if anyone needs to talk I will be up in the tower unpacking and all.

*Kimberlyn looks at the stranger*

I suggest sir you follow me right now to see the Archon and register. For if you cast currently without being a registered member of the Guild of Mages it would be highly illegal and you would be slain on sight.

*Kimberlyn looks at Arthur and prepares to escourt the new mage to the Mage Tower.*

he has broken no law until he uses his magic within the kingdom. He still has all the rights of a freeman until such time as he is placed on trial for a crime...which he has not commited yet.

To however it is that intends to register. Yes, please attend the meeting so that you may meet the archon.

Violence does usually come first for most here, for it is a simple and easily spoken language... personally, usually one of the third options.
