Disappearances
Music, fun, and best of all, lots of Ale! One cannot ask for more than that, except for a warm bed, which they have as well.

*sighs*

Try sensing it? Though from the speed of the new growth that we found I bet the answer is yes.

*Autumn laughs*

Any suggestions?

*she looks to the sky, then back to Sylas with a grin*

I always have suggestions.

It's been a long time since Katheryn has felt lost in the woods, but shortly after she and Torvach start on their way back, that feeling becomes all to real. The trail they followed to the Glade is gone, and nothing looks familiar. Nothing makes sense. Moss seems to grow on a random side of each tree, making North impossible to determine that way. However, by using the sun as a guide, they eventually find themselves back on familiar ground, and from there they again find the pasture, where Torvach spends an extended, frustrating time trying to wring useful information from the sheep.

Back at the Glade Sylas cautiously extends his awareness to the nearest tree, where he indeed does sense magic present.

Then two things happen almost symultaniously.

The tree flinches away from the probe. Almost at the same time a ball of mystical light forms from Syslas and darts across the Glade and into the massive Oak.

*Kathryn tries to make light of the situation, trying to banish her frustration at becoming lost earlier*

Maybe this questioning would be best done with a Caldonian present?

I am tired of baa-ing anyway and the most useful thing I have learned is "bothersome two legged he entered tree and left". If you can find the trail back to them let us go.

*Autumn steps back with a start, then narrows her eyes at the Oak*

If I were easily offended, I may have found that rude.

No it's not, I have never seen this on my patrols. I think that is a treant that may have come from the grove that Nyrhtak and I found. The time we ended up leading them back to the town. I have been checking that spot regularly and there isn't anymoer activity there, but then again. If someone came along and destroyed all but 1 of the treants I know of I'd make sure none of them returned to that spot.

*those around see aroura give a large shiver*

You know, i Never get used to that. And even when kimberlyn does it, it's not as strong a feeling.
This glade really feels of essance. (small smile goes across her face)
i wonder if it has any connection to the Treant circle by legacy.
