Impressive, truly impressive. Silverthorn made his request for aid, and the town came forward to do so. This while it's constable was busy elsewhere, and no set or normal command structure in place. Our knight squires were busy again and from what I hear it seemed that an elf and a magistrate did lead them... always interesting.

I had heard of the request a bit ealier than it arrived in Midway and I unfortunately had to be elsewhere at the time it arrived. From the trains of injured and dead flowing down into Tarragon keep it looks as if it was a horrendous battle, but one that was solidly won.

I for one will feel much safer conducting long term business without an occupying army somewhere beneath my feet.

I extend to you all a thank you... free of charge.

And if any of you acquired items that you are having trouble selling, feel free to seek me out and we can work out an arrangement to find those trickier buyers.

*Kimberlyn gives Darthesis a wiry grin*

Actually has anyone seen Sylas? In all the chaos and battle over the last few days I lost track of him. Rumor had it he would be in town Saturday night, but alas I never saw him.

I never saw him and I was here for a little bit before you all returned.

*DD runs in a panic*

"Did I just hear Darthesis say 'Free'!?!?!?!"

*DD lets loose a blood-curdling scream and runs around yelling about 'The end of the world", "The Sky is Falling" and "The Apocalypse is upon us" and other over-dramatic cliches of doom and gloom*

*Raises an eyebrow*

Did you bump your head or something to be acting so loopy?

*DD stops yelling when Kimberlyn speaks to him. He looks at her and says nothing for about a minute*

"I have no recollection of what you are talking about."

*DD smiles ear to ear and jumps up to sit next to his favorite Mageslayer*

*Looks at Dearm as if he has lost whatever marbles he might have had.*

Whatever...

*DD pulls on Kimberlyn's sleeve as if he wants her to follow*

Come on! Let's go play a game! I made this new one up called Turtle-hopper! You're going to love it!

*DD laughs and hops up and down a bit on the bench*

*Looks at him with that glare of hers.*

No...no thank-you that does not interest me at all.

*DD used to the glare, (as it has been used on him a few hundred times), just continues to smile*

"What if I told you part of Turtle-hopper included ridding the world of necromancers and/or rogue mages? Seriously, those guys really despise Turtle-hopping... One commits suicide everytime a game is played! It's in the rules!"

*Rummages through a satchel and produces a neatly written document, complete with drawings*

"See! Sub-article A under Section 12 of Part 2!"

*Holds the document for Kimberlyn to see, about two inches from her face*

*At this point Kimberlyn is looking very annoyed*

I have asked you nicely to leave me alone. I have other things to do besides play your game.

You bring me vaid proof of necromantic activities and then we can talk, but until please go discuss matters with someone else.

*Seeing Kimberlyn reach a point of anger DD is uncomfortable, he falls back into old habits...*
