Outside the inn--a buzzing sound...

Those at the inn in Midway hear a buzzing…a dull, onerous buzzing. Outside are five giant dragonflies flying in formation, slowly descending from the sky. One dragonfly leads the pack, while the other four travel two by two. The four in back are each carrying a corner of what seems to be a large hammock or net. All of the dragonflies have one wood elven rider, with the exception of the lead dragonfly that has two. One of the wood elves on this lead dragonfly dismounts and says to the folk outside the inn,

Greetings. I am N’hall Glen Traveler, most recently of the encampment at Syl’Van’Con. I have been told that you have in your possession the earthly remains of Mohdri Nockmar. He was a true protector of the forest, attuned to its forces, pure in spirit and noble in deed. He gave freely of his time and toil, helping to drive the undead scourge from our lands. He came to our aid when we needed it, yet never made demands upon us for gold or other lucre in return. He earned the respect and allegiance of many—our wise ones, our elders, and most especially those humans who till the soil and are closest to the land. As such, I have been tasked with conveying the body of Mohdri to a nearby wood elven encampment, where it will receive traditional internment rites and other corresponding honors. To whom might I speak to obtain what I seek?

I apologize for my visit being so sudden and my requests so abrupt, but time is precious this day and we must make haste. Our rites demand that we return with his body before his essence is too far gone from this world. I realize that some of you may not have had a chance to make peace with Mohdri and pay your respects. If any of you would like to say a few words in his memory, please do so at this time while his body is brought forth.

*Walks up and nods to N'hall before turning her attention to Chronixxx*

Chronixxx where is the body? Is it in a room in the Inn or has Klogg placed it on the Skun Boat?

*Looks back at N'hall*

Was on my way to inform you about Mohdri, but apparently you are aware of such matters. If possible I would like to accompany the body, but if that is not permitted I do understand.

*Stands there and waits for Chronixxx to say something.*

N'hall nods.

Yes, that should be permissible. You may either be seated behind Tevash or ride in the litter, whichever you may find more comfortable.

*** Darthesis watches with a look of surprise on his face

This must be a rare thing indeed. I however have no idea where the body is to be found, nor the authority to release it. I assume the constable has such an authority.

I'm sure Sylas will answer when he is done with his meditation.

*N'hall replies to Solari in common*
Yes, you and Sylas may attend. But we must depart as soon as possible, so if you would, please stay nearby so that we do not have to leave you behind.

*Solari looks quzzical for a moment and then speaks*
With all due respect, I asked if Sylas and I could take part in the burial rites. Consider it as a favor that I ask of you.

*Solari looks around*
Has anyone seen Spring?

*Kimberlyn looks at N'Hall after he is done speaking with Solari*

If Tevash doesn't mind, sitting behind him would be quite facinating as I have never been on one of these creatures before.

*Looks at Darthesis*

When return, if you are going to be around Darthesis I have a few matters that I wish to discuss with you.

*To Solari*

I have not seen Spring since she left Midway Friday evening after the whole to do concerning the possible capture of Rasolin Worlin.

*To Klogg*

Your timing could not have been better and thank-you for jogging my memmory on where everything was.

*Waits with the group for the signal from N'hall that it is time to go.*

*Sylas approaches, his meditation complete*

*Recognising Tevash he salutes him, hand on chest, as to another Dragonflyrider*

"I have the feeling this is about Mohdri? What is required?"

to Solari

Perhaps I did not speak clearly enough: you and Sylas are both welcome to come with us and participate.

to Sylas

All that is required is for Mohdri's earthly form to accompany us back to an encampment so that we may honor him in the way of our people. Ideally, this will happen in the company of those who most understood him, our ways, and the wilds that we all share. As such, I hope that you will join us and assist us in carrying out our rites.

Tevash looks unusually somber, sitting still and full of purpose

*Nyrhtak arrives with Sylas and listen's to the Wood Elf speak. He then looks at Sylas.*

Mohdri was a Hero. A man that the peasantry of our land looked up to in many ways. I do not know the extent of his relations with the Wood Elves, however I do know that if his body is not at a ceremony that the peasants may attend, there may be trouble associated with that.

*To N'Hall*

Thank you very much, Nyrhtak does have a point, the people of the land should be allowed to see the final rites for one that championed them. Perhaps the rites can be performed somewhere accessable, perhaps Dharma's Tree.
