...Can I ask a question?
What is uhm.....well....er...
I spose it is sort of obvious where it came from, earthquakes and all, but anyone have any idea if there is anything we can do about the big fissure in the middle of town? It makes getting up the hill to the Barracks quite a bother.

That would probably be a question suited for Mister Nilbog and his people since they are carpenters and the like.
*Looks around the Inn*
Has anyone seen Autrum Twilight? I have something I would like to discuss with her.

What is it you wished to speak of, Mage Hunter?

So you're suggesting we...build a bridge? ooo, I'll bet that thing would make a GREAT moat. Except...I can't see the bottom. I wonder how far down it goes.

*Kimberlyn looks at Nyhtrak*
I am not suggesting anything of the sort Nyhtrak of Mahuru. I am merely suggesting that for a situation such as that individuals such as Mister Nilbog might, in theory, have a better idea how to solve the problem.
*Turns her attention to the hooded figure.*
If you do not mind Autum Twilight, may we step outside to talk?

* A human wearing red and black enters the tavern*
Man why do all the women in this place always seem either angry or extremely serious about somthing.
*looks over to Nyrhtak and smiles*
Seems from the looks of things it will be a difficult task just to get a date around here...... eh Nyrhtak.... huh.... huh
*clouce motions over to Nyrhtak and gives him a couple of elbow nuges and sits down at the bar*

*** Darthesis speaks from a corner of the bar.
The problem with this town is a lack of enthusiasum. Many are easily excited and afeared for short periods, but they lack determination over time. On the frontier, goals are easily displaced by thoughts of 'today', 'survival', and 'action'. Goals require planning, thought, and reconsideration. Something many people do not think they have time to do properly.
I personally believe a bit more thought, a bit more planning, and the action you take will be worth 10x the action made prematurely, but then, most have differences of opinion with me.
People DO need to enjoy this life, I know I enjoy mine. Without that enjoyment, you may as well let your enemies win, why fight it? In fact, you may consider the opinion that they already have won.
Enjoy life, or crawl off and die as you will, that is my humble opinion. I would not say that this applies to all the members of this town, but more than one would think.

you seem like a very layed back person.... tell me is it hard to talk to a lady around here without either getting blown off or stabed

*laughing*
Depends on the woman. I've talked to several and only been blown up or stabbed as a result a half dozen times. The point is... if fear of reprisal is going to stop you... why start? Life is an adventure, and, although Darthesis and I disagree on the planning part, I agree you should have fun. So go young one, go get yerself some... I'd avoid Twilight and Kimmy but there are others.

Dietrich Krankheight, why do you refer to me as the name that Dharma the wood elf does, this Kimmy?

Just a friendly nickname, Kimmy. Faster and easier to say. More efficient - you can understand that. Like when people call me Ebek for short.
