Music, fun, and best of all, lots of Ale! One cannot ask for more than that, except for a warm bed, which they have as well.

*Reads the note and looks around for any DeVris members, if any are present he directs the question at them.*

Does anyone know if this auction is to pay fines and fees incurred as an additional part of his sentence or some other reason?

He was a criminal who consorted with Necromancers. Since he was put to death, all of his possessions are forfit and shall be sold at auction. Proceeds shall be divided up in the usual manner.

Can I assume?

Can I assume that everyone who took part in the Chess match will also be tried under the same law? Or was Mikos killed off in error?

*Nyrhtak looks up*

Meikos addmitedly dealt with Necromancers. There were no Necromancers near, nor dealing with in any way with said chess match. I thought that Mayhem was a Necromancer, however I was wrong and he is not, and as such I spoke with the Thane and decided to accept the challenge for the sake of those 16 people and the surrounding Baronies. Luckily we were able to defeat his minions.

Do you feel that those who deal with and seek power from Necromancers should not be tried under the law that states you cannot do such a thing?

We didn't?

I mean -

Of COURSE we didn't!

I am a member of Toevass, and so my word can be accepted as the truth.

I truthfully do not believe I am doing anything illegal right now.

Take THAT, Bombar!

Oh really?

"So exactly what is the difference between a vampire, and whoever Mikos was dealing with? This is the problem with mages and magic weilders. There is such a fine gradient between what is good and what is evil, and what is neither. I hope that my policy of serving any and all will not lead me down this "dark path" of consorting with evil persons. I Must be vigilant!!"

Bombour turns to listen to someone in a hood sitting at the bar who whispers to Bombour.

"Got the sword fixed yet, Nyrthak?"

Well, I believe vampires drink your blood, while necromancers tend to spread it all over the place.

So I guess vampires are cleanlier.

Also, the one time I met a vampire, she was very polite. The one time I met a necromancer, he killed me.

Don't worry though, I got better.

Just about Bombour... Just about...

I don't think you have much to worry about Bombour, unless you knowingly serve drinks to a caster of Necromancy. If I were you, I would refuse drink to a known Necromancer. If some random patron comes in and orders a drink and they happen to be a Necromancer? That is nothing like what Meikos did.

*Looks at the avayana upon entering the Inn after her conversation outside with Twilight.*

Mekos was gnome who was an alchemist. In terms of how he had dealt with a necromancer *she rumbles through some papers to a master list* it says here he made a pact with some necromancer from some Crypt of Fear. He signed some pact with said individual in blood.

Others involed were first off the individual wanted by House DeVris Rasolin Worlin, a guthrie named Quindell, a dark elf named Innyoch Feldspar, and humm...a dwarf whose name I do not have written down.

In terms of dealing with necromancy, learning the art of necromancy itself is punishable by death for it is a high treasonist act. Willingly carrying around a necromantic item is also a high crime. Knowingly working for a necromancer is also not a wise idea for those who do so shall be prosecuted.

Is this clarification enough for you?
